Or you could add the gradient to the given y coordinate and add 1 to the given x coordinate to get your second pair of coordinates--basically rise over run. Then perform the process that's described in this video.
Not sure if there is an easy way other than to return to 1:Calculate and then input that decimal to see if it is accurate enough to be expressed as a fraction.
You would need three points for a quadratic as there are three terms. It would be a similar set up to these videos on sequences...th-cam.com/video/HpxIPfnBDVY/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/7nW_83sEX-c/w-d-xo.html
There isn’t the facility to do that specifically on this calculator as there is with a graphic. You would have to substitute equation 2 into equation 1 and solve for x. Once you have that you can use either equation to find y.
What to do when the gradient is given with only one coordinate, instead of a pair of coordinates?
Substitute into y =mx + c to find c, y is y coordinate of your point, m is your gradient and x is your x coordinate. Rearrange or use SOLVE to find c.

Thank you. Both The Calculator Guide and TI84SATACT.
really appreciate it mate
You are marvellous
Thanks so much!!!! :>>>
There's no option button on my casio fx991es plus calculator.
. What can I do
same
Thanks
is there a way to change the gradient and y-intercept into fraction when
a & b are decimals?

Go to your calculator normal mode then type that fraction then type equal, then you should see the fraction.
how can we find the equation of regression line x on y
Using the statistics mode
Does this only work for straight lines or could you use the regression option for a^2+bx+c graphs assuming you had two roots e.g (1,0) and (5,0)

God. Thank you
how can I find the coordinates of the points of intersection lines such as x+y=8 & y=2x-1

Hello, I'm trying this on a Casio-FX991ZA Plus ii, and it doesn't have the OPTN button, what can I do in this case?
It's SHIFT and 1 to access STAT/DIST, 5 for REG and the and b values should be available in there.
@@TheCalculatorGuide My 5 shift function has "vector" on it
@@firenj10 SHIFT and 1, then press 5
@@TheCalculatorGuide my shift 1 only brings up 3 options
1. Type
2. Data
3. Edit
@@firenj10 You must be in STATS mode in the menu

I don't think one exists, but the fx-991EX is a great calculator
