You do nice work! One tip I learned from an old school builder is using a pipe cutter to cut handlebars. Like the same pipe cutter that plumbers use. I've done it and it works awesome... perfectly square cut every time and the way it cuts it pushes the metal in a little giving you nice rounded edge around the cut. The inside of the cut will have a sharp edge but unless you're running anything in it like bar ends or something it doesn't hurt anything. All it takes is a rat tail file to clean that up if needed.
You build a great bike and do us "shovelhead riders" proud...one kick engines and old school looks! Keep up the good work and good vids.. Thanks man. Represent!!

I love love love that Shovel. The T-bars look good. I like the rabbits better, the curves of the rabbits flow with the curves of the bike for me. But, that's just me. Your camping trip was awesome, thanks for sharing. So glad the Shovel got you there and back with minimal issues. Great stuff!
Beautiful bike and what a difference with the new bars. We're just getting into the weather when cleaning the bike is pointless as each day just puts back what you washed off. Great video, thanks

New bars look much more comfortable to me. I don't know how those bunny ears feel but they kill me looking at them. My favorite bars are the '06 Street Bob stainless bars, I have used them on most of my builds since!

Stock frame with vtwin Hardtail
Righteous bike, but high mids and a hardtail? The amount of stress put on your lumbar spine with that combo is tremendous. Remember me when you herniate a disc and have permanent sciatic pain. Or, you could avoid all that ish and lower the pegs.
I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I've just taken care of too many bad backs. I've seen thousands of people with herniated discs and don't want that to happen to you. Being stylish shouldn't result in permanent disability. I hope this trend ends before you get hurt.
