    1:54 Battle Brothers who martyr themselves for the Emperor are rewarded with 72 Skirmish Sisters in the afterlife. The Emperor is Great. Now that is something I would crash an Imperial Battleship into a Space Hulk for. I'd still purge the Hulk before I fall, just saying.

      If it's not something they can quite literally copy paste off of wiki and read word for word, they won't do it. I'm not kidding when I say that the entirety of their effort to make these trash can videos is just reading off the wiki. Occasionally they will throw in some cringe forever virgin dragon Ball z nonsense with their horrific and infuriating sounding accent to spice things up but that's it

    So if i understood correctly, even if some eldars got multiple gems in their armor and weapons, just one of them works as a spirit stone?

      Exarchs have the spiritstones of all eldar who became them embedded in their armor. Also warlocks and farseers take additional stones with them so they can draw energy from the souls.

    Question: After the Eldar God of the Dead is born, will the Eldar still live? Their race, I mean?

  • @Lashrath
    @Lashrath 7 ปีที่แล้ว +19

    Honestly... Eldar store their souls in stones found in the warp... One would think Slaneesh would try to corrupt the stones. Or it would be a pretty smug joke ifshe actually did it already - and "souls consumed by slaneesh" are the ones that are trapped in the stones and they would rroam free otherwise. Obviously this has a lot of plotholes like why wraithguards fight fos the eldar - also there is no trace of chaos corruptin in them and eldar as a highly psychic race would probably realize this... still it would be a grand trick. Befitting of a god (and if their enemy was Tzeench I would be sure this was the case :D )

    Quick question.
    So if we are to believe that some humans who have died and have come back temporary by leavening the warp and getting into real space.
    Dose this mean that the dead primeachs that sided with the emperor could also come back using this method.
    If they wanted to.

    • @Jadefox32
      @Jadefox32 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      most souls are consumed when the person dies, the more psychically gifted and the stronger the belief the more the belief fuels the formation of things within the immaterium. So the best way to answer your question is maybe, we really (as fans) don't know.

    • @mr.mercury4247
      @mr.mercury4247 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is most likely is that the belief in those beings is so stromg that it creates a physical manifestation from the warp. Sorta like hiw the orks make machines work, the machines don't actually work the warp just bends reality so it makes it so. Basically, what I'm trying to say is they're not really comming back to life, it's just that since humanity has a species wide psychic presence in the warp, and everyone believes in these people, these "daemons" which emerge from the warp simply LOOK like the people but are not actually them.

    • @titaniumwolf1123
      @titaniumwolf1123 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure why the people commenting are commenting when they clearly have no f****** idea what they're talking about. A, yes this can absolutely happen
      And B, This has already happened numerous times and continues to happen. Examples would be Ferrus during the war in the webway during The heresy, basically any living saint that revives, and the entire legion of the Damned. Now that only encompasses about 200,000 individuals or so, so I guess we just don't know lmao 🤣

    The closest the Tyranids get to an afterlife is when the rippers or some other Tyranid organism eat the carcass of the fallen mindless beast and then either throw themselves into or regurgitate the Biomass into the digestive pools so that the Hive fleet can use the Biomass to create more Tyranids.

    question: considering that the imperium during there crusade found isolated human colonies that had mostly fallen in terms of technology due to isolation what if they came across a small coalition or federation type group of humans on the far reach that had kept the technology from before the imperium and was able to not just keep but further it and thrived along with other alien races what do you think there tech would be like and would the imperium consider them heretics and either assimilate them or destroy them or maybe allow them to be and ask for there help in the war against humanity or do you think all out war would erupt between them and maybe the federation/coalition would hold there own due to there own advancements in technology sorry this is so long but I just had a thought seeing you do 40k vs questions

    • @derdingsreturnsnochmal5177
      @derdingsreturnsnochmal5177 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well, I'm not OneMindSyndicate, but the typical behaviour of the Imperium would be to send a couple of spies down there and as soon as they've learned all that's worth it, they would be brought out there, a diplomate would be send to tell them about the Imperium etc. and offer them to join and if they wouldn't the Imperium would throw all they have at them and obliterate the colony.
      But that's highly unlikely, since a colony with such advanced tech. would have been notified by now.

    Sugestion: Could you do a video about Space Hulks such as Sin of Damnation? On the artwork It looks huge in comparison to Imperial capital vessels. Who built them? How were them destroyed?

    • @titaniumwolf1123
      @titaniumwolf1123 ปีที่แล้ว

      Space hulks weren't technically built. They are always either a mixture of asteroid and battle debris from massive ships Who died in combat eventually crashing into each other to form a conglomerate of ship junk. Or occasionally they will be an old massive superstructure that is just kind of chilling in space having been ransacked and raided countless times until it's also just a conglomerate of junk. They can be the size of regular battleships aka miles across or the size of capital sized ships, which can be the size of nations. All the way up to small war moons the size of the Phalanx. They are typically only crude by orks or chaos due to the fact that nobody else can get them moving effectively or live on them considering they have in a life support usually but the orks are so vaguely and poorly written that they can just fart, And if they believe hard enough in that fart, then that fart will become its own life support. And chaos is chaos they don't need air. They can be pretty easily destroyed by just about any imperial ship that has planet cracking capabilities, and that's mostly not even necessary. Imperial warships, eldar ships etc all mostly carry weapons that can glass continents with a single shot, there for these space hulks aren't as much of a problem as they would appear to be at first. The issue is you can take out mile long chunks of the things over and over, and because they aren't an actual functioning craft, they'll just keep coming. Can't really knock the engines off of a monstrosity that shouldn't work in the first place.

    With knowledge of the nature of Warp (simplified as "What you believe shall be!"), it would be no suprise if there would be many Chaos cults or even Warp cults coming with their own deity (as gods became real in Warp if somebody believes in them), and create their own afterlives - which shows even more how shortsighted and dumb was Emperor's decision to "protect" humanity by his "Imperial Truth".
    Of course, there is probably simmilarity with Shyish in Age of Sigmar, and both Shyish and Warp are not true afterlife but mere "transfer station" - which means that when "soul" is either dissipated or prematurely destroyed (like in case of Horus), that person/being will simply transit to another dimensions beyond both Materium and Warp

    Question: Even if tyranids have no afterlife, what about tyranids cultists? Genestealer hybrids and the like, who believe their glorious swarm-god is gonna come down and sweep them all off this mortal coil. Apocalyptic cults tend to be pretty serious about afterlife beliefs, so what about them? I doubt the hive mind would bother to construct a warp paradise realm for them, but maybe their souls get absorbed by the hive mind when the swarm arrives, allowing them to become one with their great devouring god?

    question: do spacemarines ever change chapter as in transfer to another chapter (other than to the deathwatch)? Do orks ever transfer to another clan?

    • @FlareKnight2
      @FlareKnight2 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No they never change chapters, due to the gene seed in plated within them being from either a founding chapter or from a mix due to the many founding's. In regards to the deathwatch they aren't changing chapter just combining arm to combat different threats that one or many in the deathwatch many know how to fight. Orks can change "clans" by going from speed freak to loota, but I don't think one can go from snakebite to gofts per say.

    • @TheAzerty92
      @TheAzerty92 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Silencio Steve Well technically yes! A certain chaptre having strong tendencies for kleptomania, has a dreadnought taken from another chapter... And the said dreadnought is very happy to have a new painting!
      Now seriously, yes it as been hinted this might happens but almost never it is only between brother like chapter from the same Geenseed that it can really happen or if a sm is the last survivor from his chap another chap may accept him until his death.
      Also when a new chap is created they take the sm of existing chap in order to creat it.
      And chapters have the obligation to give some of their best xenos killer to the deathwatch for x years and it (inquisition xenos exterminator) is a kind of "chapter"
      if you want to have lot of very good fluff I advise you to download Rogue trader (Goldman Sachs' in space ) / Dark heresy (inquisition ) / Only in war (GI)/ Deathwatch (SM) it is rpg books done by Fantasy Flight Game and they are full of tasty fluff !

    I have a question about Tryanids and their beliefs etc. I understand that it is possible to break their connection to the hive mind. And I understand that all the lesser units such as the gaunts and rippers etc revert to a very basic feral state when this happens. But in a Tyranid codex there is some fluff about a space marine crew capturing some of the more sentient species and psychically breaking that connection. Since the hive mind loses control over distance naturally does there exist anywhere in 40k lore a planet where Tyranids, most probably genestealers, exist outside of that range (with or without psychic anomalies assistance) and display their own unique concepts of life and death etc etc?

  • @seanodonnell7169
    @seanodonnell7169 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question: so the hive fleet is the true Tyranid and the individual monsters are just parts of its body, but dose that mean the hole fleet has one big collective soul? after all tyranids do have psychic powers so that means they have a connection to the warp and a soul of sorts. if the fleet if one entity and that entity has physic abilities then it must have a soul. in that case if the whole fleet dies does that soul go into the warp? what would a tyranid hive fleet soul look like?

    In Dawn of War 2: Retribution, the Hive Tyrant could get this funky teleportation power that would kill it's body, causing it to explode and drop in a fresh body (from orbit?) at the targeted location.

    The Eldar Death God Ynnead sounds rad, is Maughan Ra and the Dark Reaper aspect warriors patrons of him? Sounds about right if they are part of its manifestation. The Dark Reapers are originally of the aspect of the war God as the destroyer, yet Ynnead seems to fit them well in the manifestation of the Death aspect, much like the Harlequin Death Jesters are seemingly similar to Dark Reapers.

      Alexander Schneider Tau are atheist and their presence of the warp is weak enough that daemons can't notice them. They kinda float around all eternity in the warp after death. They believe that only their deeds remains of them after death and death is final for them with nothing afterward.
