Ep. 1: • Starting Single Player...
I gave this version of the game a try and found out that I LOVE it! I'm able to play when I can and I don't have to waste a ton of time getting killed by who knows what and then waiting 5-10 minutes to get into another raid. This just fits the way I like to play the game and I hope you enjoy it as well!
Rules for SP Tarkov S1:

I know you're going for that vanilla feeling, but I really highly recommend the "no bush esp" mod. Something about the AI in SPT is off and it can get really bad from time to time. Ive lost count of how many times Ive been beamed by pmc's and bosses despite having zero line of sight to them. There's also a value modifying mod if you think the bosses are spawning too often (another weird SPT thing Ive noticed). It'll let you go into the options and set their spawn chances to be the same as online.

im thinking abt it too i cant play normal tarkov anymore i get cheaters even when i play scav xd i got killed yesterday by a esp using scav he told me that i have something that he wants and shot me head eyes xd thats why i wanyt to play spt aki but i dont know how and they say you can get banned

@@spontansoundrecords3681 They cant ban you since singleplayer tarkov isnt commercial and doesnt interact with normal tarkov.

@@xSoulhunterDKx It is technically bannable. If you record yourself using it or stream or in general tell someone that you use it, it can result to a ban if found out. Using it in itself isn't going to get you banned because of what you said, but reckless usage can cause your account to get banned in the worst case scenario. The Tarkov dev team doesn't like it so if you were to public admit to using said mod they will ban you if they find out.

Its a mod, you cant use the mod data for your normal eft profile. its storaged as a seperate file.

Ive been playing SPT for about 6 months now on an old version since i can afford the game atm =(, but im hooked, 100% addcited im on my 2nd "wipe" since my first profile corrupted (careful it can happen when finishing quests, specially polikhim hobo so ave ur profile constantly (get profile editor for that)

I know this is way late but the goons have like a 40% spawn rate for some reason in SPT, and it doesn't have the timed map rotations - it is on all maps constantly. I turned mine down to 2%.
I did the same so they wouldn't always be there like they were

Been playing this myself as a way to get some confidence with the game and learn the basic quest structure. I hadn't played in a while and didn't know the goons were even a thing. My first 3 raids I went on customs, the goons spawned in construction and mowed me. I was so confused and just thought pmc AI was absolutely busted.

Later in the series do you try out any mods? Sain is great for ai that fight a bit more tactically, there’s also swag which does spawn waves but I don’t really use that there seems to be plenty of ai without the waves
I add a couple quality of life ones but I haven't messed around with the AI yet

the odds of the goons showing up in both maps back to back is possible but super low lol, especiallly on both being right next to your spawn? Almost makes me think it's a settings issue with the offline server but guess it was just unlucky.
its something to do with SPT. I had to tweak them to keep them from spawning so much
@gamervisuals yeah I just tried SPT last night for the first time, the goons were ALWAYS on customs and they had a wall-hack tier lockon across like half the map. I figured the default enabled bosses option is 100% spawn rate.

the saiga shotty is noticeably bad for hitting things at any sort of distance. i have a clip on factory where it was like i was shooting confetti 15 feet away using magnum.

No matter how far you run away from getting Tarkoved, The Tarkoved will always find you and it will always come to get you.
i got killed by knight on my second zero to hero raid on spt on customs leaving crack house. i feel like they have a larger spawn chance and i would like to disable the goon squad entirely simply because they are broken and shouldn't even be in the main game.
They do! for some reason in SPT they spawn a TON! So I messed with their spawn chance to make it lower so I could actually play the game, lol
Do you know by chance if BSG hardware bans, or they just ban the account? I wanna try this but lil scared I'll get hardware banned

i have the vanilla SPT and on reserve, no one ever goes in D2. its kinda unfortunate. but also nice having a safe extract lol

In the raid offline options uncheck the scav boss option or they spawn every raid

@@leesparks4813 Unable to do that on the mod that he is using, I believe you can only change the difficulty of the AI on the map, the weather and time or something. Every other setting is grayed out as if you can't interact with them.
what mods are you running or nothing ?
Your version of enemy AI and mine couldn't be more different. Without mods to tone them down I just have a set of roving terminators that can burst fire perfect shots at Head/Eyes like lasers.
Are you not using any mods or adjustments at all ?

I know this old but you should defo continue using SAIN (and it's prerequisites), QuestingPMCs, AlgorithmicProgression, and most importantly: BotsLooting.
I have also a few more like ItsLit to make foliage and darkness actually effective, making stealth/predator gameplay fun.. as well evasion and hiding. Tweaking the AI personalities and global AI behavior have made such damn compelling gameplay and it feels even more legit than LivEFT.

Not as of now. Just playing vanilla since this is my first playthrough with SPT. I honestly like the experience a ton more than live.
@@gamervisuals In my experience, I definitely have to recommend the Looting Bots mod. Does what it says, and definitely spices loot rarity up a bit so you're not the first to grab everything.
Just above that, I recommend Visceral Dismemberment. Its not too over the top, but it basically makes it so if you point-blank an enemy in the face with a shotty... you'll be left with the lower half of their jaw. The visuals are pretty unintrusive, and generally appear as part of the vanilla game- it's really impressive, and adds a bit of depth to Tarkov's already visceral and brutal gunplay/combat.
At the very end, I recommend the SPT Realism Mod. This mod is really only for people who could do without Tarkov's more ammo-based/armor-based combat, in favor of something more realistic. It isn't for everyone, but if it sounds like it is, then I highly recommend it. Generally, it improves weapon handling to be a bit more realistic (no more crazy recoil that gets insanely good with skill, no more random automatic recoil, meaning you can actually control auto fire with your mouse), and it stops armor/helmets from doing crazy things like stopping some high-caliber sniper rounds (7.62x54r for example, and so on). It also tightens the different ammo types to be a bit more deadly all around. In this instance, the only time your ammo choice REALLY matters is pistol/shotgun calibers vs armor, because your choice of round might actually affect its ability to pen. On top of this, is heavily reduces Tarkov's inertia, but keeps it a tiny bit, and also makes healing a bitch. Getting shot sucks with this mod- having to remove armor and rigs to operate on your chest and stomach for example. Gives it some more difficulty, but definitely hurts the Tarkov-y gameplay if you really like that.
Know that this is probs late considering there are more recent videos lol but I've been playing SPT for about 2 weeks now and I recommend Amand's Hitmarkers if you ever do want to add mods It's pretty customizable even has a kill feed option so you can confirm your kills as they happen doesn't make the game any easier at all its pretty much just visual, But yeah that aside I am Loving the videos so far going to binge this entire series

You know you are really playing SPT when you will encounter Bigeye, The goons. Sanitars Squad and all whilst still being alive and healthy compared to live where If they did spawn they are already been looted or killed by someone, And I mean someone with a really nice herman miller chair and best mouse and kb combo.

I can't, unfortunately because BSG doesn't support this version of the game and it a quick way for me to get banned
Doesnt this mod require EFT and its bannable?
yes it is bannable. but the only way for BSG to know you're playing SPT is if you happen to run the live launcher and the SPT server at the same time (which you are NOT supposed to do). You're always offline with SPT so they can't know you're playing
How are the colors so saturated for you?

@@tomchappy3388 I'd say you will be fine. I have an R5 3600 (non x) and it is all good. Obviously your RAM and GPU play a part. I have 32GB DDR4 RAM and a RX6700XT GPU. Run the game in 1440p and get solid 60FPS with the exception of Streets and sometimes Lighthouse which are 45-55 usually.

@@tomchappy3388 No worries, and good luck! Also, if you want to mix it up a bit then check out some of the mods if you haven't already done so. The realism mod is quite a lot of fun and is very customisable and gives the game a different feel.
Anybody else having an issue where you can't purchase anything directly from traders?

@@gamervisuals i have to filter search everything through flee in order to purchase through traders. it simply doesn't register any of the items in my stash on the trader menus. fence in entirely unusable because his listings are not on flee.
If you know where the enemy is, dont peek... use a grenade.

crossroads is pretty scary mid game. better to go from smugglers to trailer park as PMCs rarely go to shipping/big red

for that part where the goons killed u on customs and right after on factory, my guess is that the goon spawner fucked u over, that run you died to the goons was probably their last lap around it then they switched to woods right after, so u js got unlucky

Man I _sure_ do love seeing a veritable cavalcade of obnoxious edits that are _far_ louder than the rest of the audio in the video, extremely in your face, repetitive, and incredibly distracting. I mean, this video would have been an utter failure without the back-to-back "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT!!!!" earrape edits, or the minecraft boat, or the *insert other examples here*. Seriously, your audience aren't a bunch of literal toddlers you have to jangle keys in front of to keep their attention.
Again all sarcasm aside, I love the content (zero to hero in something like STALKER, SPT, etc. will always be awesome), but the edits are just ridiculous and utterly unnecessary.
