Hi ! Nice that u started this problem solving silsila ❤️ I use Samsung M31s. Right from when I purchased this thing 2 years back, i have a major issue. Google photos don't backup photos/videos or even if it does some rare occasions, it's totally unpredictable. I am using Google Photos since 12 years. I am a vociferous photo and video shooter and as such this backing up is very important for me else no phone ROM is enough for me ! I never faced this issue in many of the other phones i used prior. Since I am a Google One customer i contacted them, i contacted Samsung too. But both of them failed to solve the issue. The regular tricks like clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling Google photos are all done. Samsung took remote access of my phone too once, but the problem persists even after all the things they tried to solve it. When I transfer my multi media files to a laptop and run Photos backup from there, it happens bindass, but why doesn't it happen consistently with my phone?? The Google Photos app icon will keep rotating with the message "preparing for backup" but no one knows when the backup will start only other than rarely when it starts suddenly, continues backing up may be 30 or 40 files, and then again stops.
