This was so helpful. Thank you for sharing. I massively struggle with having my own self concept. I didn’t have those words to define it before watching this and I didn’t realize quite how bad it was until hearing it defined like this. It makes so much sense that would be a major factor in social anxiety. I have definitely learned to live with it and function decently enough to the point I often forget it’s still there. But I’m realizing more and more how much it still has a hold on me and how much it limits my life and am starting to get sick of it! It’s like a constant mild cold that never really goes away, but then a big flare up will get triggered with specific things and I’m reminded how much it still controls me. Thanks for the tools to start working with the root cause. Did the exercises with a specific fear and will continue to notice how things improve.

Thank you for all that you do for those in need - you are a blessing and a balm, a calming source of information and inspiration. And thank you for requesting that those who hope to gain something from this video actually focus on what is meant to help.

I don’t have social anxiety to any substantial degree and this is very helpful. Always good to strengthen internal locus.
You touched on this- what are your patterns/ behaviours/ thoughts generally when trying anything new?
Learning anything takes practice, effort, commitment. If we give up at the first obstacle, or chastise ourselves for making mistakes etc. a part of us is not in alignment with what we want to achieve

Yeah, I look at the challenge as a test. Like, here’s an opportunity to affirm my reality of choice
