- Hello, this is my first time doing something like this so it's not perfect but still I hope you like it ^^ Actually theme of this video was on my mind for a long time and eventually I decided to do it.

Honestly, Jay Park's wings really took off to fly after he left JYP. Although it was a sad event, it truly was the best for him.

@@sruthi671 2PM were more popular than bigbang for a while, they won the Daesang aka artist of the year, even gd announced it before they received the award. 2PM members were kinda geared towards america too with the english speaking members jay, khun, taec and the members personality and concept is very laid back

I'm sad, but come to think of it, because of what happened, Jay Park was able to be free to do his own music and now a CEO of two companies. He'd done nothing wrong, all he did was chose his freedom and what he loves/wanted.
It was a blessing in disguise. Made me think of B.I. I hope his return as a CEO will lead him down a path of success like Jay Park. Imagine iKon's contract one day expiring and they all sign with B.I. That would be legendary.

It's not that he did nothing wrong but He actually did something wrong in THE PAST. It was still during trainee days, he was still immature, and he wasn't just used to the culture yet because he's a foreigner. It was a mistake that people dug up and made into a scandal. So sad that he had to leave because he doesn't want to ruin the group's image and he was hated by a lot of people at that time 😟

The pain could be seen in jay park's eyes whenever he is talking about leaving 2pm.
Knowing Jay Park went on to succeed in such a big way has to got to have made the members of 2pm proud though, as well as Jay seeing them succeed. They went through hard times, but they all flourished in the end, even if they were apart, and that's incredible.
Actually, Jay also mentioned before that there were 2PM members who came to AOMG's launch party. I forgot who they were, but if I remember correctly there were 3 members there.
Jun. K and Wooyoung attend it. The article is there, but being denied by some hottest. The others had schedule, so they cannot go.

There are still some stupid fan who don't want to see them together 😒 and we all know that in Korea these things are really bad and all, I just hope that they'll one day stop caring about that
There a couple reasons: In Korea, they have like “delete culture” . It’s common in Korea when couples break up they never speak or mention the persons name ever again, delete all pictures & erase memory of them dating publicly. This applies to groups to Kpop too. Culturally, Koreans don’t necessarily need to see past members connect as much as international fans. Although this is somewhat slowly changing. Second: since Jay was involved it a heavy controversy at the time. Koreans Entetainment has no problem cutting ties. In their mind it’s like protecting the rest of the groups image.

I’ve looked at the 2pm vs Jay objectively while everything you said is emotionally (subjectively) charged... What I said is correct regardless of how you took it. I was making a comparison. Culturally, Koreans don’t need to see past members connect as much as international fans and since culture is a social construct, I fail to see why what I said isn’t true. Of course one aspect of culture does not apply to everyone supposedly represented by it. Which is why I said “ Culturally, Koreans...” instead of “Koreans..” btw You proved my point “Delete culture” does exist in Korea. The fact that’s it’s a present norm in everyday culture means it also exist in pop culture. How much this affected Jay is your & my opinion.
I'm crying. I miss them with 7 member. Maybe their still friend behind the stage. But i want they can performer or variety show together, what ever with hater perseption. They are great more together.

This was the first group I stanned where a member left. It never gets easier, but this video makes me smile especially with Taec’s comments on that Vlive haha. Honestly tho, and this is just conjecture, I think the only reason they haven’t outright interacted with each other is cuz of JYP the company and the person. 2PM especially I bet are contractually coerced to not mention Jay’s name (many other groups who have lost members also do this, hence why I think it’s a contract thing). And judging with context from some of Jay’s past comments and songs, there is no love lost between Jay Park and Mr. JYP.
The day we ever see an official reunion of 2PM with Jay Park is the day 2PM decides to leave JYP.

I was a fan/hottest back in 2008/2009, a summary on what I know about this (Note that this is just from my POV as a fan). Jay was sent back to Seattle because of those old comments (e.g. 'Korean is so gay..') he posted before he debuted (not leaving the group yet). After few months, the opinions on the internet kind of changed - someone explained that saying xxx so gay is more like complaining instead of discrimination. Many of the netizens thought they were overreact and want Jay to come back -- many fans were sitting outside the JYP building for that. And then 2PM releases the album 1:59pm with a concept for waiting for Jay. The album was super successful and we/fans were all under impression that Jay is coming back (they really did give hints in that way). And then one day JYP posted a statement saying that Jay Park would be kicked out of the group for one thing he did, which was horrible, unacceptable, but they will not say what it is ( we still don't know what it is now). After the statement was released, JYP arraged a press with some reporters and some fans, to let 2PM members explain the things
This is the same reason I left the fandom. That press conference was the worst. I remember watching it and still had a bit of hope that Jay would come back but 2PM's answers to the questions were horrible. They painted Jay like he was a criminal when clearly he did nothing wrong. He wouldn't be able to comeback like he did, if he actually did something bad and whatever that bad thing was would've been leaked by now but look nothing. I believe that press conference is one of the reasons why I do not think they keep in contact with each other. But I believe there is no bad blood between them. I'm pretty sure Jay has tried to contact them because it is said that he still talked to Khun even a year after leaving the group but no mention of any other members. But the other members probably were forbidden to contact Jay. The good thing though was when Jay came back he mentioned BEAST's Dongjoon and Dongwoon in his solo album's Thanks to and they trained together at JYP. Also, Jay and Jokwon are still friends. All those rumors about drugs or Sunmi was false. We know now that Sunmi came back to Korea and left Wonder girls because of her family. She didn't want to continue promoting in the US because she wanted to be close to her brothers and mom as her father passed away and she was the main breadwinner of her family. The only reason those rumors came up is because Sunmi never talked about her family situation, so people assumed it was related to Jay since she left Wonder Girls around the same time Jay was kicked out of 2pm. So people kept trying to connect the two. As far as drugs go, Jay doesn't even smoke cigarettes and he started drinking alcohol at a late age too because he is very health conscious. He didn't even drink coffee before for his health. Just look at his baby face. Drugs age you quick. I have never seen a druggie that doesn't look like they do drugs. You can usually tell by their skin what drugs they do. At Jay's age, his skin looks flawless.
The biggest hints I learned about Jay being kicked out was because of contract reasons. This is just speculation but apparently, he revealed too much about his contract with JYP to his friends which were part of the messages that got leaked on myspace and the contract was considered a slave contract for 10 years which is illegal thanks to JYJ. Contracts can only be max 7 years now. But it was surprising that JYP would have slave contracts when they are considered as a good company and has a good family like image unlike SM. Jay exposing that was the supposed "bad thing" he did that isn't illegal but no one can ever confirm this. To me, it makes sense if that was the reason. It was also said that Jay signed an NDA not to talk about anything and in turn he would have his trainee debts forgiven. Since Jay was in 2pm for like a year he still had some debts but he said he didn't have to pay it back.
for people who are saying they're glad he left he didn't leave he was forced he was in pain 2pm was in pain and us hottest still can't get over it 😭😭 I'm so happy all the members are doing good now

I think they're still friend... entertainment industry is so small.. it's so weird if they never bump into each other for all this times.. That's why taec talked so casually about him... Jay also mention 2pm before that they are one of the guest at his AOMG party. Even 2pm Album Time for change is displayed on Jay Park cabinet along with his solo albums. But they cannot publicly show their relationship since his departure from 2pm was really controversial... but i think maybe their friendship with him is not as close as before since they have been parted away... 😥😥
I used to think of Jay as some hip hop dudes that try to act swag (not just him , basically my stereotype on hip hop)
But after discovering him on Hsr 4 and many other contents I found that he is just so damn humble and actually a nice person and a boss, it's a pity that he left but at least he became more successful
Now I just hope that they still have that interaction going on, his days after debut might be short but I believe the friendship is made through training periods also

I think it just seemed like they were closer. When they did the house tour show the only person who had 2pm pictures with Jay in it in his house was chansung. So I think he might have been the closest since he has in face in is apparent everyday lol.
@@hao9508 And Chansung was basically the only one from maknae line who cried after him on stage also. Maybe they had (or still have) this connection as oldest-youngest. Still I think that probably they contact with each other as a group, they weren't together for a long time but still they went trough a lot so some connection and nostalgia must be there ^^

I was watching live when 2PM won artist of the year and keep following their updates about Jay every day. I was shocked when JYP suddenly decided to terminate Jay from 2PM. They said Jay did something huge that violated his contract. I remember when fans gather in front of JYP HQ burning their posters and CDs. When Jay arrived at the airport for comeback, the crowd was so freaking huge! But then it was unfair for Jay to have pressure every time tv show hosts keep asking him about 2PM while JYP forbade any tv hosts asking 2PM about Jay. Just imagine if Jay made a comeback for 1:59PM album, 2PM would be relevant like Big Bang. But I'm still happy 2PM still doing pretty well and Jay is doing really well too.

I just saw Tae posting about Yugyeom's song All About you on twitter. Yugyeom is an AOMG artist and JayB is from Higher. From the interactions , It seems like all the got7 members have a close relationship with Jay park.
GOT7 still has a close relationship with 2pm too. If got7 has a close relationship with both of them, we can assume Jay and 2pm are still close too. They probably still talk to each other.

I started stanning Jay as a solo artist then I found this. It really is unfortunate for him to leave his group and they seem really close. But hey, now Jay is a big boss. He's now a CEO of his own company and even signed with the same company as Beyonce.
With maknae Chang leaving JYPe, almost half of the members are out of the company. So maybe, just maybe, they can talk to one another and get together. Not as 2PM of course since what's done is done but 2PM featuring Jay Park is a possibility.

This makes me sad since I am a fan of both but at the end of the day it's just one of those relationships where you cherish the memories you have with each other, and the relationship is better to be just that... memories. They went through a lot to debut and a lot of hardship but life between them is just too different now and all are successful in their own ways.
The thing we should be happy about is how they don't shit talk each other there still is a line of respect. Jay is very outspoken but he's careful when it's 2pm members (not so much for JYP).
Just like with iKON, Monsta X, and even EXO, it must suck knowing that when a member leaves, you have to act like they never existed so the group can avoid negative reactions.
I really hate that. They are normal ppl, they have the right to be friend with who they want. Both the media and netizen are really evil. Why they need to ruin these pure friendships.

its not JYPE rules its more like crazy fans and investors that would pull out knowing their interaction will hinder their business and the crazy fans are just mad crazy (its more like Anti fans cause lets face it people talk about crazy fans all the time but realistically its the anti fans who invest at much time into hating an individual just like a normal fan would for their bias) and the parties involved know better if they were seen in public they could go down a shit storm

My Hottest heart is happy that things turned out well for both parties but I would still love to see some sort of interaction between them. I mean, it's been 10 years already, most of us aren't teenagers anymore to get pressed by it if it ever happens.

Jay park and 2pm is the first group that i stand in kpop world. And after jaypark left, it broke my heart, and i stand iKON and once again i broke down with the similar situation. The leader left 6 member behind and became CEO of his own company.

It was JYP’s decision to cut him and the members had no choice but accept it. I think 2pm to this day has many regrets about the situation and I also feel that despite all their fame they crave the creative freedom that Jay got after leaving. I’m a got7 stan now and I’m so glad they had the 2pm to guide them in their early days
Creative freedom?if they dont get it at jype, they already go to another company and not resign the contract twice. Every single of their solo album being produced by themselves. They can do anything they want to express their solo work.

Got7 wrote over 80% or their discography as a team and DAY6 wrote pretty much all there’s but they still hated JYPE. 2PM lived through a different time a time in which it was safer to be under JYPE than not and I think above all they had a strong desire to keep their team together but with their prime years gone and their popularity not nearly as strong they use to be now they need to stay at jype. The members of 2pm have criticized jype many time

I dont want to get involve with DAY6 and GOT7. This not what we called hate. This is just simply the direction that company want dont align with the group. Every group struggles a little after coming back from enlistment to be at that same level they were 🤷🏻♀️ that’s fact! Members of 2pm have left JYP and I do think more members will eventually leave too! At the end of the day 2pm is the only group at JYPE that ever renewed their contract.
I have to say Jay Park/2pm started the trend of leaders leaving the team and both parties still going steady🥰🥰🥰

I loved Jay in 2pm but I love him even more as a solo artist. I think he would've been miserable if he chose to continue as an idol and not have creative freedom over his music. Not to mention that AOMG and H1gher wouldn't have existed.
I think so too. When i listen 2pm latest music i don't think it would suit him or i don't have any imagination how would Jay sing songs like my house, promise etc. And also they released albums in Japan a lot. It would be really crazy for Jay.

Rain(one of the closest person with JYP) do collab with Jay. Not him, Kim Tae Woo, GOD Joon Hyung too. So, I think Jyp had nothing beef and he must know the big potential that Jay have. It just, some og hottest n jaywalkerz, they dont like 2pm n jay together. To avoid anything bad in public, jype just make sure 2pm dont really talk about him i think.

Jay doing well with career. his music genre is very different with 2PM genre. So,i think Jay park now is the best for him, and 2PM now is the best 2PM.

DAYUM when B2K got back together to do a reunion fans were having it and so freakin excited to see the reunion of this group but again it didn't last at all....But here fans still have resentment against Jay and can't forget the past....he is way better off without the controversy.....I do need to see him in a relationship scandal with an american chick though...not an asian one cause then he will never ever live that one down either......he needs an american relationship for sure!!!!
