I hate myself. I always fall for the bittersweet love stories. Already knew from the start that they can never be together (Assuming the ending was a dream sequence/life after death scene) because 1) They're from different timelines. There's gotta be a huge gap between them knowing seohae was 8 at the present timeline and guessing Taesul's what 35-40+ ? 2) Without the uploader, their paths could have never crossed nor would they have formed this type of bond because just as sigma said because of their experiences, facing hardships together and seeing each other in their most vulnerable state, they wouldn't have fallen in love 3) The title is called Sisyphus, already implies something can never be attained. No matter how much Sisyphus rolls the boulder on top of the hill, it will always come down. Same thing for the characters in this drama as well especially Tae Sul. No matter how much he wants to be with Seo Hae it was inevitable that it wouldn't last long. That's why he said even if there's no future he would always want her to find him and enjoy those little treasured moments of them together. But still, I couldn't help but fall for them too. It would have been more merciful for both of them if they have never met at all, but because their paths have crossed in several timelines, there's apart of them that aches and longs for one another even if they don't acknowledge it. Thanks for reading my rant lol. I still can't get over this couple. I love them too much huhu that I just kept thinking about them all the time after watching the finale TT

After all, Sigma is still out there - full of hate & vengeance even as his other self is painting pictures for children in the park. The gift of a warm jacket & compassion in his time of crisis didn't really change his path - he still wants to destroy the world. Until his existence is prevented, the world is still in peril. And then there's that plea/pledge they made as Han tae-sul takes his own life: "Come & find me." Gah! I like to believe she will. I mean, wouldn't you? Do your damnedest, that is? And then we'll get another season! 🎉😁🎊
Omg. A masterpiece. This video made me cry. You really have captured their story so well. All the scene, the dialogues, the parallels, the music, perfect. I love these two. I'm so sad for the end. You said in the description that maybe it was Han Tae Sul's dream at the end in the airplane, I didn't think of that, and I think that it could be that. I was thinking that they were able to find each other in another life after trying again. It's good to see that at least they're are happy even if that's a dream.
I'm still processing the ending. I think deep down I knew right from the start that there's no other way to end this without having Tae-sul killed, because otherwise the cycle will keep starting over. It's so heartbreaking but there's a certain beauty to it and also Tae-sul and Seo-hae's love, theirs is so great and faithful.. At least we know that they really love each other. The ending with Tae-sul and Seo-hae on the plane reminds me of Inception ending (SPOILER ALERT), where it is implied that Cobb is still dreaming because the totem keeps spinning but he chooses to stay there anyway so he can stay with his kids. Tae-sul didn't take his pills because he wants to keep seeing Seo-hae. That's so sad and dark but kinda beautiful too? lol sorry for writing a whole essay but anyways thank you so much for this wonderful edit!

I think they are either dead or stuck in between timelines like before. At the end you only see them on the plane. But I think like inception it is purposefully left open to interpretation. This video is amazing btw.

The story was beautiful and mind blowing but still it breaks my heart so much. They deserve the happiness they'd never get, being together. They can only be together in their memory, and that's that. I just wanted to myself not to think about them anymore, but whenever i stumbled upon vids of them, tears just falling down. Many people are saying that in the ending han tae sul was dreaming where he sees seo hae with him but in the airplane scene it wasn’t a dream it was all real han tae sul was actually in the plane and he was seeing seo hae’s hallucinations and thinking that she is with him when in reality she isn’t just like he saw his brother hallucinations in first episode but this time he didn’t took the medicines to make the hallucinations go away maybe because he knows he won’t be able to meet her again and there’s no uploader in the future where seo hae can travel back to meet him so he just sit there and pretends that she is actually there sitting next to him which i think is really heartbreaking
I thought it is just his hulluncination too, just like in epi 1 when his hyung "talk" to him on the plane and frustratedly asked him why didn't he reply him then he said "becos you are already dead!". Then he took his hulluncination suppressant medicine. In this finale scene with her he didn't reply to her questions on the food menu too. 🤔

Frankly speaking, I’m actually expecting a sad ending ( of course I’m hoping for happy ending) because Seohae is from the future and TaeSul is in the present, meaning they can’t be together in terms of logical sense and is already expected. Nevertheless, I really love this show. Very emotional and something thrilling which I have not had that feeling for a long time. Highly recommended to watch for those who have not.

So I guess it is still made? His brother is awake and have the blueprint, does he use it to create the uploader to save tae sul? Since in his present time Tae Sul is dead.
The most confusing kdrama ending that I've watch but this was a masterpiece ♥️ Kudos to all the casts, director, writer and production team for the job well done 👏 I really love the chemistry, plot, storyline and everything and probably gonna watch this series again. ahh, im gonna miss han tae-sul and Seo-hae. their love story is on a different level. Cho Seung Woo never disappoints his fans in his acting. But I would love to see him in a love story with a happy ending next time. His toptoch romance movies like Classic, Love Phobia, Sword with No Name, etc are all sad endings..pls give us a happy ending next time, we want to see you happy at the end pls...huhuhu
this drama absolutely broke my heart but in the best way possible, and this edit has absolutely ruined me in the best way possible. the parallels you’ve pointed out?? stunning. this music choice is so good and everything about this video is stunning. of course i knew that one of them had to die and i guessed it would’ve been hae tae sul for some time now. han tae sul reminds me so much of tony stark in that sense. i am so so in love with these two and i’m grateful for the drama giving us a sweet scene afterwards also i’m just gonna forget that the last two minutes with the whole sigma thing just doesn’t exist bc i want to be in denial that this whole war thing might still happen just now later in the future.

Director JIN HYEOK has shown that with a little bit mercy to the audience and a little bit creativity, a Happy-End is allways possible. We understand that Korean Directors loves bitter, sad and often incomprehensible endings, but some times an Happy-Ending is necessary. Even JIN HYEOK showed some trace of sadism with that ending that deceives us 3 times about the fate of the character GANG SEO HYE. This choice of directors is very common in Korea. They like to deceive us and make us despair. The series was anyway SUPER !!! With CHO SEUNG WOO and PARK SHIN HYE, quality is always guaranteed. For us men in addition, this series also gave us so much pleasure for the eyes. Having 4 beautiful actresses like PARK SHIN HYE, JUNG HYE IN, and especially LEE SI WOO and HA YUL RI in the same series was very nice. It's a pity that the characters to be played allow their to shos only a small part of their beauty. Let's hope for SISYPHUS II. Kind regards from Italy.

I'm finding the problems with S. Korean shows are they make one cry. A lot. Look At The King's Affection. And now The Extraordinary Woo Young Woo. The other thing is they deprive one of sleep. How am I supposed to just watch one episode at a time? I don't have that kind of will power! They are so lovely and well written, with such great actors one can't help but sit glued to the screen.

Mình đã xem lại lần 2, thật kỹ so với lần đầu. Biên kịch thực sự rất logic khi cho cái kết Tae Sul chết và Seo Hae tan biến. Đơn giản là từ đầu, ở mốc thời gian gốc họ đã không thể ở bên nhau, Seo Hae 9 tuổi và Tae Sul xấp xỉ 40. Seo Hae từ tương lai trở về với mục đích ngăn chặn chiến tranh và khi không có chiến tranh, nghĩa là vòng lặp kết thúc, Seo Hae cũng không cần trở thành chiến binh bảo vệ Tae Sul nữa. Nó giống như là một giấc mơ vậy. Người xem là mình thật sự rất đau lòng, dù biết biên kịch đã xử lý mọi thứ theo đúng logic. Mình tự hỏi ở cuộc đời thực, có vòng lặp luân hồi không? Có người nào chúng ta đã gặp nhau nhiều kiếp, với cùng một kết cục?

Director JIN HYEOK has shown that with a little bit mercy to the audience and a little bit creativity, a Happy-End is allways possible. We understand that Korean Directors loves bitter, sad and often incomprehensible endings, but some times an Happy-Ending is necessary.
Even JIN HYEOK showed some trace of sadism with that ending that deceives us 3 times about the fate of the character GANG SEO HYE. This choice of directors is very common in Korea. They like to deceive us and make us despair.
The series was anyway SUPER !!!
With CHO SEUNG WOO and PARK SHIN HYE, quality is always guaranteed. For us men in addition, this series also gave us so much pleasure for the eyes. Having 4 beautiful actresses like PARK SHIN HYE, JUNG HYE IN, and especially LEE SI WOO and HA YUL RI in the same series was very nice. It's a pity that the characters to be played allow their to shos only a small part of their beauty.
Let's hope for SISYPHUS II.

I'm finding the problems with S. Korean shows are they make one cry. A lot. Look At The King's Affection. And now The Extraordinary Woo Young Woo. The other thing is they deprive one of sleep. How am I supposed to just watch one episode at a time? I don't have that kind of will power! They are so lovely and well written, with such great actors one can't help but sit glued to the screen.
