I really love your videos. No loud babblings, no edgy political opinion sharing, nothing obnoxious. Just informative narrating. I'm curious where you are from originally. I was born in Wyandotte.

Thank you very much! I try to avoid talking about anything controversial. I was born in West Bloomfield. Thanks for watching!

@@scottman895 sure! I found your channel when I was looking for visuals of some of Michigan's major cities. Michigan is such an awesome place to road trip...!!

Making me home sick. I am from a Ford family and most my family worked for Ford. My father worked in Ford Headquarters the last 5 years before he retired. I'm heading to Sandusky MI in the morning for a quick over night trip for a real estate deal. I'm glad the forecast is above freezing.

Very cool! My late grandfather used to work for Ford until the late 1980s. The weather has been quite nice for a December especially compared to how cold it was last month. Thanks for watching!

Me too! I have a couple videos from Detroit I am planning to upload (including the American Coney Island one) in a few weeks!

Scottman895 Travel I don’t get why people love to make fun of Detroit.

Same here (outside of perhaps sports rivalries). I know Detroit still has some issues still especially once you get out of downtown, but things have gotten better for what I have seen. Detroit is a great destination to check out!

Yay finally a Detroit driving video lol. It is kind of odd that Michigan Avenue has a lot of vacant buildings, but buildings along Vernor behind the Michigan Central Station are still intact. Corktown might be quite different with Ford moving into the train station.

I really like seeing how Corktown has come back even before Ford purchased the old train station. It will be very interesting to see what happens to that area when Ford completes what they are doing. Thanks for watching!

Great video! The 'D' has changed, I moved from Roseville to Florida back in 89. Is the eastern market in Detroit still open? Maybe do a video there.

Thanks for watching! Eastern Market is still open. I drove through there once in the past 1-2 years, and it was very busy. I definitely would like to check it out sometime, but I will need to plan ahead to get a good parking spot!

When I drove through detroit from 1990 to 2002 it was really booming traffic all the time,I hauled parts for chrysler, day and night, now its like a ghost town.

The downtown area is probably (for what I have seen) where the most traffic is. As I head out of downtown into the more outer neighborhoods of Detroit, I can agree that things are very quiet.

It is unusual that both Detroit and Flint have pretty good downtowns but bad outlying residential areas.

I agree. Fortunately, I am glad that some of the neighborhoods are being restored such as Corktown.

Thank you for sharing, and you are absolutely right! I remember driving around Palmer Woods one time, and it looked absolutely beautiful. I definitely will need to check some of these out especially since my grandmother was born in Indian Village!
