- I decided to try and speedrun the 2008 game, Castle Crashers... I was not competing against anyone during this speedrun and was only to challenge myself and see how fast i could beat the game.
My only rule was all bosses must be defeated without glitches

Just so you know with those slimes you can do the level 4 lunge on the slimes to do a lot of damage
i do normally do that but i just didnt here, not sure why
bit late but i thought it was hard to do industrial castle on a lvl 14 character with green knight magic build
Fun Fact: 8:42 This is the only non-beefy enemy is the game that isn't holding a weapon.

When I was a kid and played this a bunch with my friends, I accidentally discovered juggling on my own, but I was the only one able to do it, we called it “basketballing” and I felt so cool back then
Kind of the same, but i discovered medium weight juggling ( x y then jump and spam x while going forwards)
I love Castle Crashers so much, I'm so glad people still play it till this day.

One of your best videos yet. Maybe you should do a speedrun breakdown of the WR. Explaining all the strats and stuff. Then again it might not be too different from this video though.

The final stage of the final boss when the. Sword comes to his hand you can just spam the industrial magic and he insta dies if you do it correctly

Hell yeah this was the first console game I played,I was around 4 and it was on an old school now red-ringed first gen Xbox. This was the first time in years I've even thought of this game. Watching this brought back memories of constantly revisiting this game throughout my childhood. I'm 18 now, and have been through a lot so those few happy memories mean a lot

The speedrun i did was not in any category on speedun.com, i found that the speedrun categories were to restrictive and required things such as resetting your save data for the game (plus i am not that good) so this was just a speedrun i did to challenge myself and have fun :)

I miss the first time I played this game. So worried about the next stage and having no clue whats there. Now I know everything that happens in each stage and at what time. The sad fact of loving a game too much ig lol. Proud to say that I am an 8 year veteran on this beautiful masterpiece of a game. I thank all of you that still play.
I’m just gonna say me and my cousin beat the bosses in a fast time aka she’s level 8 and I’m level 26

Keep in mind this is my first ever time beating the game I was the orange night she my cousin is the blue night
If you get the slimes to the top of the area, you can juggle the slimes with ease. I found this out in my 14th castle crashers day challenge video.
I did it in 51 minutes. (Even if I cheated, a little...)
I know a guy that did it in 53 minutes

I found the early-game light + heavy combo myself a while back and I'm happy to actually see someone else use it

Why not red knight? His magic would be better for basic enemies right? Or would getting his magic to that level take so long that it would be counter intuitive?

Man i just now got this game because i’ve been looking for couch party games for my switch,such a fun game,too bad i had to repeatedly beat the game just to unlock all the characters,i gotta get better at juggling , love the videos btw

I’m actually found a way to juggle the necromancer today while messing around with different combos. And it can be used to keep him in the juggle till dead.
Ok, this is not to be rude or anything but why mention The Ondustrailist's magic if you max out strength first? It would shave off alot of time, and also the industrialist starts out with a lvl 20 weapon so why do you use the lvl 1 rake at the start?
i was supposed to level up magic a little earlier which was not ideal but didnt make a huge difference as it is mostly used for the final bosses, and the pitchfork does 1 more damage vs the lvl 20 weapon so it was better at killing the early game enemies

I thought fencer had an even better magic than industrialist. His magic lasts a tad bit longer?
If you stand against the bottom wall in the final bosses room the crystals won’t hit you for the first time they come flyin at you

technically the fencer is better.. because they're cooler-
For the pipistrello boss, all you have to do is stand at the back of the screen and pipistrello won’t fly in the air, it makes the boss fight much faster. Also for a speedrun you might want to invest more points into agility

hey I am new to the channel, did you know potions cost doesn't scale? so you can go to the first level and gain cheap potions for 10 gold, unless they patched that in the remastered
yes the potions always stay the same price!
A quicker way is use the sandwich on the last boss second to last faze an you can finish it off under 15 secs by using its air juggle

I'm just curious... You picked the Industrialist for his magic, yet I didn't see you use it against several bosses, which could have shaved a LOT of time against those bosses (big barbarian, cat fish, cyclops, etc.) If you're trying for a speed run, why not use his magic?
his magic only becomes good once it is levelled up, so for early to mid game, melee is the best option :)
@@Reckerless I think I'ma run a couple of tests on a boss. Probably Barbarian. See if mixing it in with melee is faster than just melee. But then again, idk if the 360 version would be any different or not. Hmm 🤔

To be honest Tge last time i played this game was like 6 years ago, on a xbox 360
But i can say without a shadow of a doubt i did peform a jugglelock on corn, but i dont remember if it was some specific imput (which i think was) but again 5 or 6 years ago on a very old console
