Yeah, pretty awesome, but these clips alone show this run was just as much a product of horrendous zone defense and sliding. It IS bad defense. How do you not have a lockdown pole shadowing him all over the field? Terrible game plan.

Michigan's defense was decent, probably not the best Maryland has faced this year. However, Barnhardt's stats speak to his skill and talent. He was not chosen to wear the number 1 on a very skilled team for nothing. Say what you will, he has undeniable skill and the Tewarraton nomination is well warranted.

@@auntkaz422 it’s not a knock on Barnhart, it’s more like I can’t believe Michigan wouldn’t adjust...seemingly at all. Some of these goals he is walking through like 2 defenders who are flat footed in this ponderous zone.
