    just a quick question, are you using a video format and then apply the algorithm to each frame or is it just a series of images?

      it is just a series of images but it works with video as well by taking snapshots after specific interval.

      +Georgia Xenofontos : Actually it does not make any difference if it is a video or series of images, unless you have background already.
      For getting background of video i usually take average of first few frames and then start processing as get frame and process.
