shes just ADORABLE like a little angel i found khanyisa around Octover 2023 so much later than everyone else here. our Khanyisa braveheart so brave so courageous so LOVING so sweet so selfless, i believe she came like a lucky star like a wash of sunshine to brighten all our lives she certainly changed MY life my way of thinking and every time i see her and believe me i MUST watch one of her videos every single day it makes me so emotional to think what she has been thru in her early life when she was such a small baby its overwhelming the feeling of wanting to go and hug her and kiss her endlessly and tell her she now is forever ok she will never ever suffer again never alone, will have all of us to LOVE her and let her know she has all of us forever♥
Khanyisa has grown into such a big, beautiful, healthy elephant calf. All of your efforts look great HERD people I like seeing her a bit willful. Playing in water and eating grass versus sweet potatos Adine? You know what wins little Sunshine's attention.

That was interesting watching the herd come home to the stables. I often wondered how they did that. Khanysia is growing leaps and bounds. What a blessing she was found and saved. How is little Fenya's tree growing. Still breaks my heart.
I agree Sharon it's great to see Khansiya grow under the protection of Adine, the carers and her wonderful elephant family. It's great to see the herd coming home to eat and rest for the night. It was so sad that Fenya passed away, because of the injuries she had and Adine and all the carers did the best they could to keep her alive. Take care Sharon from Adelaide, South Australia.
She's certainly growing! Using the fence as a gauge she's well on her way. Thanks for all you do for these wonderful intelligent giants. Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦
It’s nice to see that they all have nice healthy snacks when they arrive home in the evening. The HERD team takes such good care of the elephants. Thank you for all you do. It is so good to see them all living their best possible life.💕

I must have been asleep for a month because Sunshine seems to have suddenly shot up!!!!! She looks fantastic - strong, hungry and healthy and she definitely knows what she wants!! Good to see Lammie and Nungu are as attentive as ever! It was great to see the rest of the Herd arriving home too. Beautiful video as the sun sets in the background. Thank You Adine 🙏🙏🙏🙏 💛🐘🐑🐑💛🙏🙏
Khanysa is such an adorable little girl and she seems to be sort of in those terrible two’s towards the end of the video. 😂😂😂🐘 she was shaking her head and I thought she was going to make the trumpet sound and then it would have gotten all the elephants in an uproar and that wouldn’t have been good.😂😂❤️🐘 I love it when she laid on the ground and then got back up and shook her head and I also thought she was going to charge towards Adine or the Carer that was there. She sure is a character no doubt and never a dull moment with her because she is definitely full of life and is growing up nicely too. If I may ask, what other vegetables does she eat other then sweet potatoes? When she is ready to go in, she sure does let you know and she also tries to unlock the door which I have seen her do before. I thank you for showing us all all that happens when it’s time to go inside her room for the night. Once again that little ray of sunshine made me laugh out loud! She knew those bottles were waiting for her and when she finished the first and reached for the second, it made me laugh. --And then sitting down and lying down. lol. She just seems to love life!--and thank you for ensuring she has that life. I loved the other ellies enjoying their grass, too!
Absolutely agree with you Marjorie - she does seem to love life! I think the way Adine gradually integrated Sunshine into her new family was expertly done and introducing her to Lundi as a prospective "mum" was inspired. Because of Khanyisa, I now love an entire Herd of Elephants! 😊🐘🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love Khanyisa. She tries to be a big ellie, but she’s still just a baby. She loves her bottles. She’s figured out that door latch. It looks like the big ellies go to a specific spot in their shelter. I wonder if they have their own space? They are very lucky to have such good care. 💕🐘
what a nice reward the elephants have waiting for them at the base, after a long day out foraging across the parched land for food. Each has their own pile all ready for them - be it hay or lucerne or maybe occasional other treats AND the juicy long grass leaves grown specifically for them at Herd. And it is not a little platter - it is muliple wheel barrow loads of the food. While Khanyisa knows there will be a lovely bottle of warm milk waiting for her as soon as she arrives and then the soft juicy grass outside. I love how she touches base with her two friends eating away. outside. But Khanyisa knows there are even better rewards inside - her much loved sweet potato and other treats. Khanyisa is delightful as she tries to open the door to her night sancturary, impatient to get inside. If she could speak words it might be, "look guys, see how I tried to open my gate all by myself? well it's not open yet. Will one of you 2 legged persons please come over here and open this pesky gate for me? Oh never mind I will try again to open it myself." In exasperation she may even be thinking to herself, "gee these humans expect me, a princess, to now open my gate all by myself every time. Yes, I can do it but it, does not open sometimes as quickly as I want it to open. Will someone please remind these 2 legged humans that I am still a princess. But one day I will be a full grown elephant just like all my Aunties and Uncles over there and then there will be no gates to open"
I love these videos that show details of their living quarters, rambling ares, and all their routines. I’m so glad they have it so good! And love the Baby!🤗❤️🐘
Had to laugh when Reply had to race her to the milk bottles and tried to convince him to open her bedroom door! Come on Reply she’s saying. 😆 Loved how Khanyisa looked for a snuggle with Lammie then how Nungu and Lammie joined her for a snack by the log! Let’s face it, I enjoy watching her every move. Khanyisa has decidedly a mind of her own When it is time for the bottles she runs there without seeing anyone She must have been tired by her long day to lay in the meadow then she shares moments with her sheepy pals 🐑🐑 (Lammie is so lovely) and when she has decided that it was time for sweet potatoes no one could make her change her mind and back to the nursery 🐘 😉😊😘
I guess Khanyisa was very apathetic and cold with Adine, who adores her and is ever indearing with her. Was K. very tired or it's going something wrong?...
Khanyisa was beyond adorable today with all she did, although walking backwards was amazing. She wanted to get back to her sleeping quarters! Thank you Adine! Your pictures have beautifully chronicled this lovely baby girl’s amazing journey. Thank you HERD. 🤎🐘🤎
Aah, a bee line for her the milk; I wondered why she didn’t respond to you Adine 😅 I love the little lie down ‘invite’ to come and play with me 😂 I think she could get into yoga with those bendy legs 🥰 Love the little lullaby. Crossing her legs again; so cool 😅 What a fortunate little Ellie to have been saved; you did your bit and, thankfully, she did hers 🙏 Lucky Little Lady and believe that she knows too 🙏 Lammie loves your whistle 😂🥰🐘🥰
I love how our little Khanyisa lies down on the grass or in her stable on the sweet hay. She looks so comfy and cuddly. I wish I could crawl in with her.
Two yrs late watching this, cant get enough of sweet khanyisa. Don't see so much of her these days, not surprised with a new baby on the scene but i do miss her. If theres anything new on new baby phabeni I must have missed it. Love you Khanyisa!
Khanyisa is absolutely precious. The sunset is beautiful in that part of the world. It's beginning to get very cold here but normally this type of weather we are getting in my part of the world is 2month late. We are usually in a good freeze with at least a few inches of snow. Our drought caused by global warming in North America is surely showing this part of the world we must change or else or children's children and their children will surely not be able to enjoy the local fishing spot on the river and lakes inland. They say 60 yrs and we will surely see the impact. Natures artwork is beyond word. It has written a song that is so in tune with each other that we humans have yet to understand. We need to stop and try to understand before we destroy it all.its not just up to the sanctuaries and scientist. We all need to play a part. Use less power especially here in Washington, USA we have huge Dams creating enormous amount of hydroelectric power but at the cost of the salmon population. I have tried to stop being an unaware use use use American. I hope for a future for all animals and humans to co-exist with nature in a much much better way!
Adine is really very dedicated and indearing with Khanyisa. But in last times I don't see the same behavior from Khanyisa to Adine... What is happening?...
@@LMN764 Hi Lydia, she’s probably becoming more of a wild animal and not so much a baby who needs constant attention. Also she’s at the age when she’s discovering she could do more on her own. This is just my opinion 🤷🏻♀️
Please let us see more of the big guys when they come in after a day of grazing. That was wonderful! We knew they got food later but have never seen it before. Mambo can eat .. while eating! Haha
She’s getting really big! Can you tell whether she’ll be a big elephant or a petite elephant when she grows up? Thank you for nurturing Khanyisa, your good care shows in her, good people at Herd ❤️!
Fkrom this view I can see how large and tall she is getting. Keep up the good work. Can you give us another and complete viewing of all the products you grow to feed them? It must be massive.
Our pinky is growing up fast. Looks like she will be a huge girl when she is fully grown. Hahaha, I think I'll just snooz right where I am, no problem. XXX
I have a question but it might be a stupid one if so excuse my ignorance How do the elephants 🐘 survive in the bush without vegetation and proper nutrition again excuse me if it is a stupid question They are giants at the end of the day 🐘🤗
Hey friend, I always feel so delighted whenever I watch your amazing elephant videos. 😊💜🌸🐘 I love beautiful & sweet little Khanyisa so much. 💜 I am sending you guys positive vibes from Singapore. 💜
Khanyisa ! is very thirsty and hungry ! milk bottle 🍼 1st she watched them ready 😂 ! love when she seats ! it’s rare !!! she is able now to find the best green grass spots it’s so sweet to watch her !walking where she wants and catching grass herself !! that ‘s looking so yummy ! she is not a baby anymore !!! ❤❤❤❤❤
You guys are doing an awesome work. The Ellies lie on concrete floors??........................... I suppose concrete floors are easier to clean and maintain ....................................but it is hard on the Ellie's feet and body when they lie down, plus i am sure it will be colder to lie on ..........................you guys are still doing a great job
Under the shelter is one of their options. Their night food is put there, but they sleep on big piles of sand in the yard/garden/stockade, I don't know what it's called, but it's the natural sand and grass area around the covered shelter. There's another video where Adine took us to see them waking up 😄

Thank you for showing FENYA’S Tree. Her short life still fills me with sadness but her spirit lives on through Khanyisa. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
.. Beautiful Thoughts of Kindness & Appreciation about "Fenya" ..🥰
I love Khanyisa. She tries to be a big ellie, but she’s still just a baby. She loves her bottles. She’s figured out that door latch. It looks like the big ellies go to a specific spot in their shelter. I wonder if they have their own space? They are very lucky to have such good care. 💕🐘
Yes they have their own space and their bunk mates too.
Watching from Winter Haven Florida + wishing all have sweet dreams ♥️🇺🇸🙏
What an amazing view of and around the facility~
The sunset is sooo beautiful~💞
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
what a nice reward the elephants have waiting for them at the base, after a long day out foraging across the parched land for food.
Oh never mind I will try again to open it myself."
In exasperation she may even be thinking to herself, "gee these humans expect me, a princess, to now open my gate all by myself every time.
And love the Baby!🤗❤️🐘
sweet and sly girl we love you💗🇧🇷
Greeting from South Korea.
Khanyisa is a real child, with her own head and with her two faithful adjutants 🐑🐑 Your videos are a great treat, Adine, thank you!
Sunset at the HERD: the magical time when all relaxes and turns sweet.
Who could resist her?❤️❤️❤️

Khanyisa you have come such along way. You make me very happy and proud . I feel like a proud grandma. 🐘🥰. I’m sure she is just like her mom was.🐘Be Blessed Always 🙏🐘❤️
Some how she becomes more beautiful with each passing day.
Thank you all for all the
Hard work you give each day!!
When one has sweet potatoes on the mind, it’s hard to deter, lol.
Do they have to their own special area's to go to when they return ?
Someone's a big baby! ;-)
I love these elephants so much. Such a joy to watch their happiness. Love to all the carers too. 🥰❤️🐘
Will Khanyisa always live here ?
@@catherinebreitfeller669 .. I was wondering about this, too ... I hope "Khanyisa" will always have a Safe-Home & become a "Mother" ..🥰
My day is always bright when I see Khanyisa. She sure loves her milk bottles! She makes me laugh and it’s exciting to see how big she is getting. It’s so easy to fall in love with her and her adorable personality! Hugs sweet baby Khanyisa! You are so loved by me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Who else narrates these viddies in baby-talk as if it's Little Big Girl Khanyisa ..? Myself, Guilty, your Honor. lol
D.A.
Me too 😆 whenever Adine talks to her I reply in Khanyisa-voice in my head 😁😁
And when she walks backwards, I do the reversing truck beeps in my head too 😂
@@alison__16 Comrade-! lol
Thanks so much for showing a glimpse of the grown-up elephants' lodging! You have created wonderful places for the young and the older members of the herd!
I think Sunshine wanted belly rubs!😀
Beautiful African Sunset wonder video of Herd home lovely ❤️❤️❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
Thank you for sharing love you All at Herd Elephant

Thank you very much
Khanyisa has decidedly a mind of her own When it is time for the bottles she runs there without seeing anyone She must have been tired by her long day to lay in the meadow then she shares moments with her sheepy pals 🐑🐑 (Lammie is so lovely) and when she has decided that it was time for sweet potatoes no one could make her change her mind and back to the nursery 🐘 😉😊😘
I guess Khanyisa was very apathetic and cold with Adine, who adores her and is ever indearing with her. Was K. very tired or it's going something wrong?...
Elke keer weer ben ik verbaasd over hoe lang haar benen eigenlijk zijn. En met de doorkomende tanden is ze zo aandoenlijk.
As enjoyable as it is watching Khanyisa, sometime spend more time with the herd coming back and settling it. That would also be interesting.
น่ารักมากเจ้าหญิงน้อยกับน้องแกะ💜💜💜💜
"Catch ya later Adine! I am hittin' the bottle!!! Milk bottles that is!! Haha"
Khanyisa was beyond adorable today with all she did, although walking backwards was amazing. She wanted to get back to her sleeping quarters!
Thank you Adine! Your pictures have beautifully chronicled this lovely baby girl’s amazing journey. Thank you HERD. 🤎🐘🤎
How adorable was baby rolling in the grass! 😆
She is ready for rest..
It’s so strange how the elephants have such human characteristics and body language.
Two yrs late watching this, cant get enough of sweet khanyisa. Don't see so much of her these days, not surprised with a new baby on the scene but i do miss her. If theres anything new on new baby phabeni I must have missed it. Love you Khanyisa!
Another beautiful African sunset! Our little pinky is growing so fast. You all take such good care of her. Thank you for bringing us along.
Thank you so much Adine for sharing these special moments of our favorite herd and the beautiful pink princess 🙏🐘🐑❤️
@@lisag5670 It'll be, Lisa. But I miss the way Khanyisa were...
Thanks for your reply, very nice!
@@LMN764 your welcome dear
Khanyisa is probably just getting her personality the more she grows doesn't mean anything against them two
Look how smooth and plump our little Sunshine is these days!
Your Probably going to get alot more subscribers here in the next few days
XXX
I wish I could give that Khanyisa a big kiss and a hug. She's so darn cute.
I have a question but it might be a stupid one if so excuse my ignorance
How do the elephants 🐘 survive in the bush without vegetation and proper nutrition again excuse me if it is a stupid question
They are giants at the end of the day 🐘🤗
Thanks so much for showing the stable area. I've so wanted to see that 😁
Hey friend, I always feel so delighted whenever I watch your amazing elephant videos.
There's another video where Adine took us to see them waking up 😄
Hi to you all you Khanyisa looks like she had a heavy long day. Now ready to eat and go to sleep don't want to be bother. Thanks Care takers with heavy hearts full of love for the elephants and lambs too. Everyone a great and bless day. God Bless You 😄😄
