I just bought this truck and love it. Buying the highway killer and probably all of them next lol. I just heard of other guys that sell truck mods. About to buy them all. What motor is this? I’ve been running the cat king of the hill. Sounds good but I want something deep like this

Great video. I'm trying to get my ATS game up and running been watching a lot of videos to learn how to do it and so far yours was more informative than any other. Good job driver.
It took me a while to get everything set up and in the rhythm…..but it's a very realistic game if you go with the full package with steering wheel, clutch, shifter, and range/splitters
Gotta be one of my favourite idles on a rig nice choice of truck for your first vid. I wonder if you will respond to a new comment on your first video lol.
I'm a big fan, he may not have as many options to customize on the truck but the attention to detail is very good and he has tons of paint jobs to chose from
midnight rider it's a cool mod.....I remember he released a huge update a few months ago that should still work on 1.44 but I don't believe I've used it recently to confirm 👍
I was on 1.38 when I made this video but recently was switched to 1.39 and so far I can't find these rims.....so hopefully that changes since I really like them
@@HammerLane79 Well, if you are using Smarty's pack, then it's easy to find, it's on the Steam workshop. However, those wheels look different than Smarty's, or at least they do to me.
@@dirtyace1668 It's possible it came from another mod truck I had but that isn't working now on 1.39......I'll take a closer look the next time I'm in the game

The rims are a big mystery.......I have no idea how I got them but I lost them with the latest 1.39 update. It's possible they were carrying over from another mod I had at the time but hopefully I can get them back soon!

@@HammerLane79 hey bro so im looking to buy my first truck mod, Im thinking about Jon Rudas 389 but not sure if there is a better one out there ? Which 389 mod is the best in yout opinion?
@@chrisp6443 You can't go wrong with anything from Jon...I think him and Kishadowalker have the best bang for the buck with accurate detail and support. Jon's 389 doesn't have a ton of customizing but it's a nice rig. I also like Pingas Peterbilt which has a ton more options to customize but the roof lines of the flattop aren't to scale so I personally only use that truck with the taller sleepers. For a little more money Dom's 379 is a nice truck and he's working on an update but so far there's not as much options as other trucks. For a free Peterbilt you can't beat the Haterbilt!

Joker MNE, the truck in this video is the Jon Ruda 389 Glider.....it's a paid mod but worth the money in my opinion since he regularly updates it when new versions of the game come out.
I do run the Viper mod in some of my other videos and it does have issues at times but for the most part it seems to still be working ok for me.....I have heard of others having issues with it though
@@HammerLane79 I tried downloading the viper mod from a couple different websites and non of them worked anymore they ether crashed my game or just didn’t show up under the mod dealer

The other option is to download mods from some of the external mod sites. The key is to make sure you're using mods that are up to date with the current game option or they won't work correctly.
The game has a new version update every few months and you'll need to reinstall new mods to work with that update.....currently the game is up to version 1.39.

The graffics are still to cartoonish for this day and age OK at best and the shifter should move when you shift still don't have to feel of driving the real thing I think they can do much better this isn't the eighties !
This game has come a long way in the last year.....I agree the shifter moving and exhaust smoke would be some cool upgrades but I personally think it's one of the most realistic driving games out there right now
