I’m still a Uber/Lyft Driver and frankly I’m really getting tired of it,but it does take care of a few bills. I’m starting to lose interest in Lyft because they jerk me out of $30 and I have been trying to get it back from them but it’s a hassle. Really losing interest,hopefully going into next year I don’t have to drive for them. But stay positive and keep hustling Sir,God Bless🙏🏾

For the mercedes, (mine is an 03 ml500 but still similar), it doesn't get amazing mpg, but mostly it has a super small gas tank so thats part of why it used half a tank. (Still should be a bit better though I'd imagine) Excellent video btw!
I wouldn't do it if it were me. I would bring my truck and buy/rent a trailer to bring it home where I can work on it with my tools available. Entertaining video none the less!
I think you made the right choice with the ML. History is vitally important on a used Merc, the fact that the C-Class had a patchy history could mean that it's about to cost a lot in necessary repairs. Even though it seems to have been sat for 4 years the ML having good history before that suggests someone wasn't afraid to spend money on it, I suspect the A/C compressor seizing together with the miles made the owner take the decision to buy something else rather than fix that one. Plus, winter is here so a cheap 4x4 is never going to be a hard sell whereas the C-Class could be hanging around until the weather gets better again. Plus, I can't help thinking that the $1500 buy it now on the C-Class was ambitious (or just plain greedy,) they're really not worth a lot and this one clearly has unknown issues to be at Copart...

Oh yeah. Shoulda got the 280. Mercedes quality improved since 02. The notorious rust issues that plagued those things were sorted out in the refresh in ‘05. Solid cars.
Not bad on the price for the Mercedes. I’m getting a 2003 Mercedes ML350 for a trade or equal price of $400. It does need front and rear bumpers but nothing I can’t handle.
Worked on a Volkswagen could not bypass the air conditioner and the fella didn't want to remove the locked up air conditioner compressor to bypass it. Had to leave it in a convenience store parking lot while the new air conditioner compressor come from Ottawa Canada and then put it back together.

I took a gamble on Mercedes when an opportunity arised for me to grab a 2010 E350 4matic on trade for so far under book it was laughable. So I went from daily driving my Toyota to a Mercedes. It’s been over 7k miles since and I think the Benz has actually been more reliable 😂

TheK24Kyle I know that any European car after 100k miles can bankrupt you for how much they cost to keep on the road compared to a Honda or Toyota of comparable vintage. Do the research. 7k miles is nothing. Try driving 100k miles then report back to how much it has cost. I had a 02’ 4Runner that I drove 130,000 miles from 100,000 miles to 230,000 miles that had NO issues and needed nothing but regular maintenance (brakes, tires and oil changes). I’m sure that you couldn’t say that about the ML320 or the X5.

doesnt the caddy have a blown head gasket? could have sworn it did per another video you posted, scored twice with those two cars. btw if i saw right, you lost a headlight on the 320 . drivers side appears to be out
The Caddy engine was seized up, They pulled the spark plugs and got it unseized. Drained the oil and like a gallon of water came out first. Starter was junk, then the nose of the starter got stuck in the transmission. Got that sorted. Then Randy cranked the engine over for like 20 minutes, and it finally ran. Up to date.
I noticed that when you did your last check of the Cadillac on getting it home in this video that the check engine light was on and the radio console display was flashing 'check stability controls' which is a major issue for the SRX. You pressed the 'clear' function to immediately remove it from the screen without addressing problem in this video. This issue is a known major expensive issue for the SRX and not an easy fix. Did you address this problem with your SRX in a previous video or are you just hoping to sell this vehicle with this problem?
You have bigger balls than I do...Lol I bought an 05 V8 VW touareg 2 years ago with 109,000 miles on it. It's cost me a small fortune to keep it going. I would have traded it in on the last go around but the wife said keep it even though we've put close tip 10 grand into it. Told her next time something goes wrong with it that it's going bye bye.
It would be a shame if all those lights that are lit up on the dash end up sending that great ole Cadillac into limp mode. Why wouldn't you make sure it is 100% before you go anywhere in it?

Constant maintenance? How so ? I have a 2005 ml 350 around 230 thousand miles , doesn’t burn any oil and the only constant maintenance I’ve had to do on it since I’ve owned it is the normal stuff oil changes, brakes , did a battery last year so I guess I got a good ml , not one of the shitty ones you owned . Just my opinion
@@rctazzzmannn looool mine was 2004 ML350 and for the 5 years that I owned it I paid alot. In a span of 3 days I had to change a battery, fuel pump, and the driver side window fell into the door. Though my biggest problem was the ac. I could list the issues I had with it if you like?

The C280 will sell much faster! The ML were very bad vehicles when they first came out, and plunged in value because of it!
Those C classes are dogs on the used market. C230 Kompressors are the worst but those C280s are still pretty hard sells.
