  • WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THAT SANDY CLAWS \(!!˚O˚)/
Here is your Christmas present Louis R. and Yeh-Kun [SHEETS]ノ( ゜-゜ノ)
[www.dropbox.co...] (UPDATE1: Corrected mistakes pointed out by Ben Wine Music)
    MIDI
[www.dropbox.co...] EXPIRED (will be updated when I correct everything),
(3/3/2021, so yeah... I'm still kinda working on it. But since I want to make a sheet video of it, it will happen)

OK, why did it take so long to make the sheets?
    -Laziness
-Transcribing piano music into sheet is harder than hole music ensembles (gotta be more accurate)
    -MIDI file enhancing (adding dynamics)
-Waited to buy new piano VST (Pianoteq 6) instead of using free ones (since it’s a big project for me)
-MuseScore’s MIDI pedal input (single input on/off) doesn’t work well with Pianoteq 6 (had to redo it all in Reaper)
-But most importantly: TEMPO MAPPING* (took me about 10h spread over a week)
-I aint paid for this so I work on it when I want (see first point)

About the original song, it seems to come from the video game/anime THE iDOLM@STER but the piano version doesn’t sound like it that much. The only hint that leads me to believe it’s that song is the part before the chorus starts at 1min12 here: • [The IDOLM@STER] "Mass... (this part is mes. 41 of the arrangement [1:16]). Maybe there is an album CD in japan with the version Pianeet used for his arrangement that isn’t on TH-cam?
When you translate the title, you get massugu = strait. In context, with the translated lyrics from the linked video you get: “Strait towards the sparkling future”. So, my interpretation of massugu is: going forward in appositive way.
Even if he has way less subscribers than other anime pianists, I put Yeh-Kun at the same level as F.B. Piano Anime (Facebook Piano Anime?) and Fonzi M. I guess his music found its way to my heart or maybe it’s because I see him comment on every music related video I watch.

*TEMPO MAPPING: What I mean by that is I changed the tempo continuously to make it sound as close to the original video.
    How I did it:
    -Download the audio
    -Put it in audacity
-Select the first quaver (or longer value if no quaver being played)
-Measure its duration (Length of Selection)
-Do this calculation: (note value) * (60s) / (duration in seconds)
    *note value = ratio between note value and a quaver (ex for semi-quaver: (1/8) / (1/4) = 0.5)
    Example for a semi-quaver: (0.5) * (60s) / (0.224s) = 133.92857 bpm
-Round to one decimal: ex = 133.9 bpm (mes.1, 2nd beat, 1st quaver)
    -Repeat for every quaver
The result is pretty good, sometimes it sounds a bit weird, but it made me learn about rubato. Also, Pianeet seems to put some very mild swing on the quavers throughout the piece.
