You know, Primo Victoria was the first Sabaton CD I ever bought, and to this day Into the Fire is one of my favorite songs by them. And what I love about listening to covers like this is it can make you hear something you never did in a song you've heard countless times. Be it the production or just the guitar tones, but I never really heard the intricacies of the riff during the pre-chorus. Great job, my dude! Can't wait to see what you put out in the future!
I totally agree, that's what I like the most about doing them 😁. The pre-chorus is also my favorite part of this song. And I myself did not notice it until I saw it on other covers. But once you hear it, you will notice it in the studio version as well. Especially if you can put your hands on a lossless version, FLAC or WAV. I really hated that the Promo Victoria album was so poorly mastered/recorded 😔. Comments like this are why I keep doing this 😁. Thanks again!
Fantastic cover man. Just love your videos! The way you film have made it so much easier for me to learn some of the riffs/solos aswell so thanks for that 🤩
Hello Jake, My guitar is tuned in D Standard, which is 2 steps/1 tone lower than the standard tuning (E) in which this song is recorded. If you listen carefully their lives, they play the songs 1 tone lower so it is easier for Joakim to sing. In studio, they use standard tuning, live they use the same tuning I have here (2 step lower). Even with a different tuning, you can usually get away with it by translating all the cords 2 steps higher (to match the recording tuning), but in this case, the beginning part (which is repeated throughout the song) is based on the open G string. This is why the capo was required in my case, so that my open G string matches the one on the recording. Hope that made sense :D
Holy jesus, give this man a medal.

Random question: why are you using a capo? I've seen Sabaton perform this live and they didn't use them.

😱
I love this but Im no where near fast enough or coordinated enough to atempt it without using hammerons and pull offs great video
why you have a capo on it ?
I have added some additional information in the description (copied form an older reply), explaining why I use a capo here :D
