The vast majority of famous, celebrity men in positions similar to his cannot make that claim, so Howard is a rarity. It's always a very sad situation when a couple decides to part ways. It happens, though. It's never just one person's fault. Sure, one person can be more at fault than the other for the demise of the relationship, but ultimately, it's typically the fault of both parties. Alison seems to have found a new husband she's happy with, as both have been together over 20 years now, and Howard and Beth also appear to be quite happy together, too.
