Khaosan Road is a famous and bustling street in the Banglampu area of Bangkok, Thailand. It has gained worldwide attention as a popular nightlife destination for travellers, backpackers and tourists, earning it's reputation as a vibrant and lively hub in the heart of Bangkok. This short road, approximately 410 meters long, is jam-packed with raucous bars, restaurants and budget hostels. Late night revellers flock here to enjoy street food, get foot massages and even get tattoos as souvenirs.
Join me at to see the actions and feel the ambience of Bangkok Nightlife at Khaosan Road. Thanks for watching 😀

They call it a backpacker’s sacred place, Khaosan Road.
Where the nightlife peaks in excitement, crocodile and insect dishes on the menu.
The video camera captures the relentless energy, of an area that never sleeps.
The pulse of the night, echoes throng narrow streets, a symphony of laughter, music, and chatter.
In the chaos, there is rhythm, and light and shadows, dance.
Khaosan Road, a tapestry of cultures, woven with the threads of adventure and dreams, a place where the night comes alive, and the spirit of exploration thrives.☝️🌟🇹🇭

I visit Khaosan Road almost yearly to see the transformation. From before covid, during covid when Bangkok reopened, till now. It started off as a backpacker's paradise with illegal drug consumption. Then covid came and Khaosan almost died. Now it has bounced back with louder music and legal weed. OMG. But thank God, the new government has wow'ed to re-criminalise weed by the end of 2024. But the days of Khaosan's humble beginnings as a carefree backpacker's paradise will never return.
I prefer Khaosan's sister road - Rambuttri Road that runs parallel to it. Where there's lots of street food, live music, foot massage places and lounges for you to relax and watch the world go by. It's in my next video.

Khaosan Road is very vibrant and noisy. Please watch my next video on Rambuttri Road for a quieter alternative. It's one street away 😀

Did you also visit Rambuttri Road while you stayed at Khaosan? I prefer the ambience there. Lots of street food, quieter and places to chat and relax. It's in my next video.

Looks like they modernize a lot of stuff there.....In the 2010's it was THE place to stop for few days in BKK....after COVID, like everywhere it might had changed for the worst.....

They 'mordenize' and added many cannabis & marijauana shops and stalls here. Hope to see these gone by the end of this year. Thanks for watching.
