Each team can't be ranked thr same because of divisions, some divisions have tougher teams, Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Ohio, while other divisions, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Duke, aren't that tough

Then, you have to really consider what chance they had before and after their half-dead and deceased ‘Quarterback’, respectively, meanwhile Syracuse was proficient on both offense and defense. Losing someone as vital as a ‘Quarterback’ (especially him) with the right timing was just going to accentuate everything going forward in that game.
