Bullshit, I went Colombo Courtyard Table for 2 offer (50% off), utter crap.. Wht they are doing is (not only them all da 5 star hotels do this) they invite youtubers on da very 1st days of their promotion, they display da full variety with attractive dishes, after seeing TH-cam videos ppl start to put thousands of reservations, When da buffet is open for gen public, they cut down their varieties, if da 50% off price is Rs. 3,500, they offer u a collection which doesn't cost at least Rs. 1,500. So, they make a 100% margin frm each guest. Check dese things very well if u still dwcide to go, 1. Offering a cheap soup variety which tastes shit, something like water + corn flour + soup cubes. 2. If da video shows u action cooking of seafood, BBQ chicken, Chicken wraps, u don't get it whn u go there.. 3. Cut down of salad corner dishes, if da video shows u they offer cheese, any cold meat cuts, u gonna not get it whn u go there 😂 4) U will c a noticeable cut down of main dishes & a low quality offering compared to the video 5) Desserts all tastes nothing but sugar, no authentic peculiar tastes. If u think m telling lies, check my Google review for 'Courtyard by Marriot' under da name of Skyline with photos on da day I went for their Tabke for 2 offer. Da only genuine 5 star places in Colombo that I have seen offering value for price among Colombo 5 stars are Kingsburry & Cinnamon Grand so far, they even run very less discounted buffets...
