- join us for a peaceful silent walk through bangkok morning streets in august 2024 - siam square, erawan shrine, central world and more.
in this video, we're visiting a bangkok bookstore, kinokuniya, probably the best bookshop in all of bangkok when it comes to english books, taking a quick look around erawan shrine, and having a breakfast in a diner around pratunam market

I was thinking about the handy cap people, how do they get around like in a wheelchair.😊👍
bangkok with its sidewalks and public transport system isn't the friendliest city for people with disabilities, unfortunately
Curious to know was Jane Austen or Charles Dickens part of your high school Grade 11, 12 English study? It was for me and i also studied Shakespeare in Grade 9-12. This was while studying in school in India. My favourite book amongst them was Tess of d'ubervilles by Thomas Hardy which I read and had to study in Grade 11-12. I highly recommend the book if you haven’t read it yet.
there are so many simply brilliant books we want to read: from the 'trilogy of desire' (dreiser) and 'the human comedy' (balzac) to 'slices of life' of tolstoy, grim paintings by zola and blunt honesty of gorky - life is too short to read everything on our bucket list...
@@bangkok_as_is you can add 'Brothers Karamazov' by Fyodor Dostoyevsky to the list.
no doubt, along with many others
