    How to bleed motorcycle brakes:
    • How To Flush and Bleed...
This video is a combination of the previous part 1 and part 2 videos.
Some people love the look of the factory low fender on the Yamaha 700 Tenere, but not us; we much prefer the more aggressive look of the high Supermoto style fender! Whether you like high fenders just for the look or don't want the front wheel balled up when riding in sticky mud, we have you covered!
Our T7 high fender kit's crown jewel is the anodized billet aluminum fender adaptor/brake manifold. This piece looks killer and serves 2 important functions:
-The T7's rad is very close to the front wheel, so you can't simply bolt a fender to the four threaded holes on the bottom of the lower triple clamp. Even using a short Supermoto fender, the back of the fender hits the bike's rad guard. Our bracket has an offset bolt pattern that moves the fender ahead so it clears the rad guard.
-One front output fits off the bike's ABS module, but we have two brake calipers. Our bracket doubles as a 1-2 manifold to split the hose from the ABS module into 2 separate hoses, one to each caliper eliminating the dangerous stock over-the-front-wheel brake hose arrangement.
The best thing about the T7's factory low fender is that the upper section is bolted to the fork guards rather than being one big piece, as seen on most other low fender-equipped bikes. We can simply remove the fender and retain the factory fork guards. This results in a lower-cost kit, easier installation, and a factory look!
Our kit also features three high-quality braided stainless-steel brake lines from Galfer, one of the industry's best brands!
    Your kit includes the following:
-Anodized billet aluminum fender adaptor/brake manifold. Available in Black, Red, or Blue
-High-quality braided stainless-steel brake line and hardware from Galfer
-Powder-coated aluminum fork guard cover plates
    -All required fasteners
    -Camel ADV decals
-The fender itself is NOT INCLUDED! Why? Several reasons:
-Shipping our kit without a fender is much more affordable for customers. -Fenders are bulky and require a much larger shipping box than the conversion parts.
-There are several styles and colors to choose from, so it's difficult for us to stock all the options
-We buy fenders at near retail prices. Our cost to purchase fenders is usually higher than our customers' local price.
All that being said, in the future, we may stock one fender style in a few colors just in case you really don't want to source your own.
    Fender info:
Due to the short distance from the bike's triple clamp to the rad guard and the overall size of the factory fork guards, we recommend using one of the following fenders:
-Acerbis Universal SuperMoto fender is the easiest to fit and looks great. Available in Black (204039001), White (2040390002), Red (2040390227), and Blue (2040390211)
-UFO Universal Supermoto is a good option too. Black (PA01029-001),
    White (PA01029-041), Red (PA01029-070) and Blue (PA01029-089)

Is it a good idea to have the brake lines between the fork and the wheel?
I mean it might be OK for gravel, street... but what about when wheel is full of mud?

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Every modern dirt bike has its front brake line run between the fork guard and wheel. They get ridden in far worse conditions than ADV bikes do and it's never an issue. Why do you feel this is a problem on an ADV bike?

    • @AlexandruGaal

@@CamelADV what I meant was, is it Ok to have the line between the tyre and the fork?

@@AlexandruGaal Good question, I was wondering the same. You guys @Camel ADV made the break lines fold around the fork right where the tire gets close to the fork fenders 24:53 And if the tire would pick up some sticky mud, those could possibly get swept out of position?

We can cut the old fender and leave the rear part on the bike to make it look like the European version and leave all those hoses and cables .

Hey, I love the look of the T7 with a high fender, but I'm worried about driving higher speeds on the highway with it. Does it cause wiggling or something when going like 90 mph?

wonder if that kit restricts air flow to the radiator, as I know high fender made xt660z to turn fan more often.

The multiple fastener types is very annoying, especially on an ADV bike. More tips in the tool roll, more weight on the bike.
Yamaha did so well with my R6. Just a few types of fasteners.
Now it will be like working on a Harley.

I just installed this kit tonight, using a 2020-style YZ250/450 full size fender from Polisport. It’s a snug fit but everything clears. The modern style looks great and the fender is much more rigid than the 2005 style, so there will be less tendency to for the front of the fender to oscillate in the wind at highway speed. @Camel ADV Can you reply with the center-to-center distance of the front unused threaded holes?

ALWAYS wondered about the 2 different models. One high-fendered and the other a low-fender model. THINK I’d just get the HIGH anyway..unless that’s a later model.

Just installed it this afternoon, I used the Polisport UFX . I did grind it the rear holes alt an 1/8 with a drill bit. , it must be a new design? It works with the factory radiator guard! More clearance than the full size one in the video. I still need to trim the fork guards . No issues, I still need to bleed the brakes better! It was getting dark. I was missing one hose/abs line keeper .

After installing this, does the engine still stay cool? Seems like it will restrict airflow to the radiator.

I had not thought about where you folks were but when I heard you say "dec-al" instead of de-cal I knew you must be Canadian. Amazing engineering. I have not been tempted to do the high fender but had wondered about the brake lines and crossover. After watching the video I realized the fender is the smallest part of what you have created
