I am sure he is not an educated person. You can tell that by the way in talks with audience. And with due respect sir do you know the the stream is called humanities. Policy makers , Security experts, experts in United Nations all of them are associated with the stream of humanities. People who decide what policy government should implant are also related with humanities stream.
With due respect Sir, please try and respect your audience, and people in general. When you say things like 'Naukri kahi nahi milti inko' please remember that engineers are the most unemployed in this country. Don't use your platform to reinforce stereotypes. Do you know how discouraging it would have been for the fresher? Also, death isn't a joke. I pray you never have to deal with the loss of a near one.

Arts/humanities mein society ke subjects sikhate hai, aisa kaha bola ki jo iske alawa kuch padte hai woh society mein nahi hote. Arts important field, prime example- lawyers, dekha jaye toh izat kharab hai naam se India mein par zaroorat padne toh wali hai. Yein history na hoti toh kaha se nationalism ata? Etc phaltu mein naam kharab Hain, berozgar toh har field mein hai ulta engineering walo ki line hai iss bat mein.

M not a student of arts but I find it really offensive. All streams have equal scope and science is not the only sub which requires hard work. Even humanities does. It also has 90+ students and it's a great stream.
The joke on Arts was outright offensive. If the joke would have been on Engineering or a technical subject then everyone would have just started disliking the video. I myself am not a student of arts, but no one has got any right to down vote any subject

It was not a standup, you should never under estimate any stream. Arts is prominent in it's own way
The fun fact to tell you: In India we have UPSC, Judicial Service, Journalism, Professorship and many more elite and highly respectful jobs, where majority of the people are from Humanities stream. When you make a fun on such topics, try to respect the people as well who have created history in the early years and are still on it. You never know when Comedy turns out to be a tragedy and insult for someone. Moreover, if you are from science stream and now you are a comedian then you should know well that even that's a form of ART in itself. So try to offend less audience, and unite the masses to have fun together, instead of breaking them into stream distinctive sectors.

I got 85% in class 10th my friend got 70% in 10th .I adopted arts stream my friend take science stream.In class 12 I got 95% and he got 68%.
But people think he is great.
Today I'm IAS and he works at medical store.
People realise later that I'm the best.
(But earlier they said today only duffer take arts from thousand only 1 take arts in today all take science).
But I proudly said I take arts .
From lakhs only 1 become IAS and IPS

I got 92% and took Arts for my eagerness to study geography. And I want to become an entrepreneur. I don't coagulate my career with my formal academic studies. Maximum people I see they have been insisted by their parents or by themselves that you get your degree and join a stable job (or government). And I see them entering the Rat race. I suggest them to - Unlearn then relearn, Meditate, need to listen to Sadhguru. Think before you follow.

Honestly being from Canada, we have to take both science and art. And I have always found Art courses to be the hardest for me. It requires a lot of creative thinking. So for those who say Art students are weak, will only say it till that student becomes a government officer, or a IAS officer.

Usually you see stand-up comedians talking about stereotypes and taboos of the society in the most sensible way. They are the ones who use jokes to break social stigma. But this guy was like society no logic only stereotypes. FYI Christ is one of the best colleges in Bangalore and he is pursuing a triple major there , it's one of the popular humanities degree. I really felt bad for that guy

After iisc it's the second most college but iisc is only for science people while Christ is mainly for arts but what he said was absolutely wrong there are so so many opportunities in arts stream you can be ias ips governor teacher proffesor so we shouldn't discriminate atleast in a subject.

Idk why there's soo hate regarding arts. People feel like we don't have a choice that's why we chose arts. Arts is also known as humanities it teaches us how humans behave, politically, economically we as well have psychology tbh it's underrated cuz people aren't aware about mental illness n suffer alot. There are alot of opportunities here too. Parents force kids to take up science they eventually get soo much pressured n fail. Why do we want that? Don't we hv a choice to pick up what we like to do.

I have much more idea about science than the ones I see choosing the Science stream. They don't even know the basics. They just think- take Science stream and they will have better scope. But I am telling you- In the end, u will see your job (in most cases) has nothing to do with the things you learned (false learning). They will tell you what to do and you just do it. A 10th boy can also do it. I just told a basic thing to some friends (of science stream) that we see the past versions of stars, that made them laugh and joke.

I get to know one thing by watching nd exploring u tube videos nd motivational speakers that
1) we are not same always our thoughts our opinion our everything like religion or area can be different

Soo u need to make it big
2) education is not about how difficult it is ,it's about passion

Hume physics chemistry bio ya commerce se koi interest nahi hai hume english ya pol science ya geography se zyada attachment hai apko kya? At least hum aur sabke tarah zabardasti random science commerce to nahi le rahe. Mere kitne dost school me fail karte the fir bhi bas society ke chakkar me science commerce le liye ab unse equations solve nahi kiya ja raha fail kar rahe sabke sab. So at least respect our choices, and courage.

Here's the reason:- Stand up comedians actually have zero knowledge about comedy. What they do is come up on stage pick one from audience ,insult that person,and then rest of the audience laughs like stupids.And surprisingly I feel more anger towards the laughing audience than the comedian. Because they seem to be more brainless than the comedian.
