I am a new watcher one you tube since June. I love your style of speaking (no nonsense), your sense of humor, and your impeccable accurate accounts of the Middle East. My question...Do you recommend a book on Esther. I just love this book of the bible. Thank you, in advance, for your time regarding my question. Also I want to thank you for lifting me up spiritually every Thursday and Sunday. God brought you into my life by chance as I thought but now know He knew exactly what He was doing. I now look at everything that happens to me, wether God our bad, as God's hand moving me. Thank you again. You and your family or in my daily prayers. May the blessings of our Lord be with you and your family. I am a born again Christian and baptized 3 years ago after being a Catholic for 61 years. Pleas pay for the Catholic that still believe they are the only religion. Love you.
"Overcoming Fear and Discouragement" by Kay Arthur, David Lawson and Bob Vereen is excellent. It covers ezra, nehemiah and esther and heavily relies on using your bible and not just reading their book. It's part if the "New Inductive Study" series, all of which are excellent. I realize this is 3 years late... but still my recommendation ;)
Do you know that you're saved? Salvation is not from what you do. It is what Jesus Christ did for you. You are saved by God's Grace through your faith. Faith and belief in the Gospel (I Cor. 15:1-4 KJV). Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. Trust in the Blood Atonement of Jesus Christ (God the Son) (Rom. 3:25 KJV). The Rapture is very near. Are you ready?
Hi Pastor JD. While I was watching your last study on Esther, I was reminded of a verse that God had shown me recently. I am sure that you are already aware of this verse but I really wanted to send you a message just in case. Psalm 35:1-9 "Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation." What an amazing example of exactly what is going on here in Esther! Praise the Lord! And by the way, I love your account on Instagram ;) God Bless you.
John 1 : 12 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 3 : 16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3 : 17 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3 : 18 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3 : 36 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

noooooo come back here and finish the story :'( leaving us hanging like that.
On the third day, Esther went to see the king
In her Royal robe
Though her presence was not requested
He would be pleased with her she hoped
He was pleased indeed and welcomed her
To come closer, to come near
He told her that whatever she wished
He would grant and wanted to hear
She asked that he and Haman would come together with her to dine
She did not reveal her request
Her request will come in time
The king and Haman joined Esther
For a banquet on that same day
To the king surprise, she did not reveal
What she was waiting to say
Mistake, she requested that they
Would come together for another meal
This time on tomorrow
Her quest she was surely reveal
When Haman left the banquet
He was feeling rather good
Until he saw Mordecai
Wouldn't bow is hayman thought he should
Hayman went home to his family
For an evening filled with brag
He bragged about his family, his wealth
Being the banquet stag
He went on to tell about the one thing
That frustrated and continued to bother
Mordecai still will not bow, kneel
Nor to him would he pay honor
Hey man set up a 75-foot pole
As advised by his friends and wife
His plan was to go to the king and request
This to be how Mordecai will die
