To fix the extra access to the waiting on the choice deck i run a couple of the Frieren lvl0 that discards Cx or Event to salvage characters, it helps to get rid of the extra events in your hand if you already have access to your cx or discard cx if you have the event already before refresh
I'm brand new to the game, and towards the end around 39:49, Simu side attacks but it looks like he can clear Randall's Himmel off the board with a direct attack. What was the benefit of side attacking there?
The reason Simu sided there instead of front attacking is to manipulate his soul damage output. He was aiming to do 2+2 damage for exact lethal to Randall’s 3 damage in clock. Front attacking for a 3 would have given Randall an extra card reveal’s chance to cancel the attack. At this point in the game it’s not important to reverse their low-value character over increasing the odds of sticking the necessary damage.
We dont have that scheduled, sorry! You can apply the concepts from the Himmel level 1 game in this video with the Frieren topend that we feature in our main deck profile and first gameplay video if that helps
I'm new to weiss, and would like to know if the Frieren set has any competitive viability. From what I looked at, world champ decks majority seem to be slime or Hololive.
The deck archetype 8 Pants featured on our deck profile has competitive merit, and is capable of topping at regional events. Frieren is not the strongest franchise in the game, but it is not a stretch to consider it a contender.
@TressasCollectibles Thanks! I was watching that one last night and started putting that deck together to try out. I ordered the PR card but asked friends first if they had any RR Mage fern because rn that card is $20 each. I was only able to get 1 Mage fern out of 8 booster boxes, so I need 3 more. Other than that, I had everything else.
