as someone that has owned one of these for over a year and has owned 150s, 07 gsxr 600 and an r1 this bike honestly sucked handling wise. The rear shocks suck ass and are so soft my mates used to roast me saying they pogo sticks and the front shocks weeped. My advice would be stick on fuel injected twins until you get your big bike licence as the lack of power/carbed 4cyls have lots of problem and get old after a while then get a 600 i4 if you want the sound bit of a background, im from new zealand so we have a decent amount of old i4 250s. If the carbs arent cleaned or if they have been stored for a while without riding they will run like shit and sputter. The carbs need to be perfectly balanced which sucks ass to do at home will run like shit if the weather goes from 10c to 30c due to lack of compensation to being able to adjust for higher temps such as fuel injected bikes. Yeah these bikes are a bit of a novelty and make a good sound and are fun but as a daily they get real old after a while and their age with the shocks really start to crep up after a while. Owned: Fxr 150cc 1cyl, Yamaha zeal, 07 GSXR 600, 2000 R1 Ridden: Daytona 675, 2011 ZX10R, KTM duke 390, Z300. Honestly at this licence class just get a decent fuel injected 300 twin then move upto a 4 cyl fuel injected 600 or more after when you get your proper licence.
I have a zeal it has 64000km on the clock and I've gotta admit it is a great bike only thing I dispute with it is it struggles with hills and doesn't like getting up to 100km an hour which is a bit sad as well as it sounds really tappy/rattley

Hmm I would check the carbs as this had no issues doing over 120kph and lots of power
There's no way a 250cc inline 4 should struggle with hills or 100kph. These things are 40hp. There's something wrong with yours.
