Without wanting to get too bogged down in the various names and notations for difficult sudoku solving techniques, I would say the easiest "conventional" way to think about this technique is simply as coincidental "colouring" on both 6s and 7s, whereby the on/off chain of cells for both numbers coincides. Having written all that out, maybe a "remote pair" is much clearer way of describing the situation after all :-)
I could also look at this technique as "uniqueness" or a "2-string kite on steroids" :D

What you explained here in the video "Sudoku Mastery: The Remote Pair" a year ago is a variant of the method that you explain in the video "Pincers & Pivots: A New Sudoku Technique", which you published a month ago. Good explanation in both cases, keep it up ...
