Ioannis Theodoridis | "Variations on a Theme of Sor" Op.15 by M. Llobet | Open Strings Berlin

We met Ioannis many years ago in Carrion de los Condes (Spain) and were already struck by his incredibly musical playing and his humble and sweet character.
He turned this piece, which is often played as a "look at my chops"- kind of piece, into a real treat for heart and soul.
Since he was in Berlin to help us film and organise the Berlin Dialogues concert at Musikbrauerei, Berlin, we chose to record his OSB video there as well.
