1999/2000 might have been the single most exciting season in the history of Serie A (that finale with the rain in Perugia was better than any movie...) and also the season with the strongest teams. Lazio: Veron, Salas, Mihajlovic, Nesta, Simeone, Nedved, Mancini, Sergio Conceicao etc etc. Inter: Ronaldo, Baggio, Vieri, Zamorano, Recoba, Seedorf, Blanc, Zanetti etc. Juventus: Zidane, Del Piero, Davids, Inzaghi, Van Der Sar etc. Milan: Shevchenko, Bierhoff, Leonardo, Maldini, Serginho etc. Parma: Crespo, Buffon, Ariel Ortega, Thuram, Marcio Amoroso, Cannavaro etc. Fiorentina: Batistuta, Rui Costa, Mijatovic, Heinrich, Di Livio etc. Roma: Totti, Cafu, Aldair, Montella, Marcos Assuncao etc
Please continue to do your videos with real life footage rather than fifa footage, I’m so much more engaged when I can see what you’re actually talking about. Your scripts are honestly one of the best I’ve come across it’s just that in some videos I can appreciate it to the fullest because there’s a fifa backdrop. Just my personal opinion
@@WhatifDocumentaries3417 you have crazy potential bro keep working hard, best channel discovery I’ve made all year. Looking forward to your next video ideas on football history
I'm a Laziale, this video is incredible! Amazing work, going to subscribe and follow your content. I'm not Italian, however my dad was brave and left his country for Rome for his first job, where he became a Lazio fan in the 90s witnessing all those amazing players, not only in Lazio but serie a :) He, and now me are laziali for life.
Whata crazy is how there's still so many stories from Serie A that could be told but haven't yet. The algorithm blessed me but this channel needs to blow up soon
Really good video my friend 👍🏼 Great quality, keep up the good work and the sub counter will rise no doubt! Now I’ll show myself out and start a Roma save on FM
Lazio won two scudetti, both of them with a bunch of criminal, crazy, hotheaded players. But in both the occasions the "mister" was one of the most kind, gentle, selfless, elegant and coldblooded of the entire history of serie a
That Collina's decision was most difficult, but It's very difficult for anybody to say that picht was ok for a game... And then, after retiring, Collina declared he has aleays been a lazio fan, since he was a child....
@@WhatifDocumentaries3417 what about Fiorentina brother i guess were all nostalgic about the old times and teams. Now adays football is not even close to what was back than
I appreciated the narration of the scudetto'run, but i would have set the videos so that you have the images of the match youre speaking about syncronically
I cannot understand how Is It possible for someone supposedly football fan or lover not to know any of these names of players and mispronunce most of them regardless of the nationality...

Do hope to do a full length video on Lazio's 1970s scudetto winning team and the Inzaghi/Immobile team of the late 2010s too
Keep up the great work my guy, I see a lot of potential for these kind of videos right now
I'm always on the hunt for calcio content, and this reccomendation couldn't have been more appropriate
The retro route on TH-cam is also so good!
The 90s and early 2000s Lazio had some of the best players in the planet🌏👍🏼⚽️
Up there with Parma for me
Great video. And extra props for the CM0102 reference 😄
Great work. Please don’t stop

Probably the best league for stories that’s for sure
The subtle humour inserted in your videos are 🔥💯🔥🤭

I would say start a Roma save on Championship Manager 01/02 but they're the best team on the game ...

Nice documentary.... but maybe could've made 2 videos... One for Roma and one for Lazio... sometimes it gets confusing.
Thought I’d made it obvious with the title cards but I’ll know for future reference
@WhatifDocumentaries3417 It was kind sir, but noob like me still got lost a bit. 😅😅
Bro can u do Parma ???
Valencia ???
They’re on my list

There were times when Italian football was the real shit, I wasn't born yet and by the way it's not my fault xD
1985-2001 it was the best league in the world
At its peak it was the strongest domestic league there has ever, and probably will ever, be.

Was it implied that Lazio spent a lot of money on Di Vaio here? He was never bought. He was a youth peoduct.
High turnover of players I think I meant
Calling Rome a town is a bold move 😂
Tiny place
Lazio Lazio Lazio 💙 🦅 🇮🇹 ✋
how were italy robbed in 2000?
Dal 1900 ...Solo SS Lazio!
Lazio sempre 💪👋
What's wrong with Fascism? Look at the state of Europe and tell me it was wrong lol
for short, a whole lot wrong... You might be to young to understand.
Rome Capiral.of the World
Historically sure. Football less so
Not the capital of the world because Rome didn't rule the world at its height so F off.
