  • Today, we will take a look at a snap-together kit from Tamiya, that I happened to get my hands onto. I'll do a full unboxing, and then I'll show you how I've build this kit.

    hi, whats the color code for the grey part? are you using genuine tamiya paint?

      Hello, thanks for commenting and sorry for the delayed response, I was not very active on YT last week due to work related stuff...
      On the bumpers, I am using two coats of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer (Light Grey) - the Tamiya item code is 87064. I just finished it off with a final coat of Matte Lacquer (IDK which one I used on the Jimny, I currently have multiple of them in my paint inventory). Any matte acrylic-based lacquer should do the part. So yes I am using genuine Tamiya paints, but I can also recommend stuff from Mr. Paint or Citadel, from my experience they also have a very high standard of quality.
