How exciting must it have been in real life, to meet as a small group in the college campus to discuss an idea that will go on to revolutionise how we lived and connected. Sure, they may have not known the extent of the impact which their idea might make, they would still have known that it will become something: enough to perhaps even pursue it full-time.
If you ask me, it's the best feeling ever. Sucks that so few people are interested in doing that, though
Who the hell offers a sandwich?
The ones who have it do. As if offering sandwich to someone were a cheap act :D
It would have been so funny if they said the pay for his services was the sandwich and he took it. LOL
It is LOL@@shivinunitholi2493
There's absolutely no difference between this scene and the one where Mark and Eduardo meet Sean Parker. Eduardo and Divya Narendra are ignored when they try to grab some attention in the conversation.
Both or them are very timid and are ok with letting others lead
What are you implying?
@@danb5595This is objectively false. It is Divya Narendra who got the twins to make Mark's acquintance. It is he who in this scene itself brings up the topic of Mark's past accomplishments. It was also he who pushed Cameron Winklewoss the most to sue Mark after learning of the betrayal.
He lets the twins take the lead many times not because of timidness but simply because they have more clout on account of their family connections and also as the twins belong to the row crew which is an added glamour.
As for Eduardo he was not timid in the scene where he meets Sean. He simply got beaten by the fast paced thrust and parry style of communication by Sean. Sean was also more adventurous in his goals, was much more charismatic and Mark even before the meeting idolised him due to his past accomplishment of founding Napster. Mark never had such admiration for Eduardo who in his eyes was most probably just a useful ally at best.
Anyway in both cases it was not timidness that was the problem with Narendra or Eduardo.
'Didn't sell it. Uploaded it for free.'
'For free? Why?'
*casually shrugs*
Like he's saying, it was a good idea, but I knew if I could do that in high school, I could probably do something bigger and better later in life. Also, it's fun to give the finger to a big corporation and deny them all that money. Teenage rebellion, you know?
Wouldn't take that sandwich, Mark..
why?

@@SympatheticNightmare there's plenty of women speaking out. Stop being an idiot. Also, look into the hammer family history, it's filled with rape.
@@reddd-77 Speaking out isn't proof.
Did Mark have the plan in place the moment he said he was in?
They asked him to write the code. This is like writing the law and create loops where ever he wants. Watch the scene again, as soon as they said that he is in.
0:57 I could ask the same about Threads and how it differs from Twitter.
The difference is Threads has the backing of Instagram that has the backing of Meta which is already a well-known renowned brand with an existing huge platform of users.
