Hello! So the other day when I was listening to some bebop playlist I found this nice solo, I made a quick research and found out it was Grant Green. I don't know him a lot so I didn't recognize him at first. The solo is great and I know there are a lots of Grant Green fans out there so I think it was worth transcribing. Enjoy!
And he can play funk listen to him play Ain't it funky now! Grant told Benson that Wes needed to go find a pick and stop playing with his thumb....How funny is that!

Please do some of Mimi Fox’s transcriptions! Donna Lee in particular!
This is incredible! Wow. Thank you!
He was one of the great melodic bebop players, as was Sonny Clark on piano
Grant Green was a great player George Benson loved his playing! Benson took off where Grant left off!
And he can play funk listen to him play Ain't it funky now! Grant told Benson that Wes needed to go find a pick and stop playing with his thumb....How funny is that!
Yes! Love “Ain’t It Funky Now!” Such a masterpiece.
And Pat Martino seemed to take Grant's hard driving bop direction and run with it .

great recording, solo, and melodic transcription. Chords aren't quite correct as to what the band is playing.
