You guys do such a giod job making bat reps. Whoever does your voice overs does a fantastic job, and the quality of your reps just keeps getting better, excited to see more!
Great game to watch, but I did notice a Couple errors on the Seraphon side. 1. Kroxigor Warspawned take one less rend from shooting, doesn't make them harder to wound. 2. When you rallied the Saurus Warriors at the end, you should have only brought 2 back, not 4. They're 2 wounds a piece after all
21:52 I don't think Shalaxi could have made that power through move into the combat range of the Kroxigors since she wasn't in combat with them when she started the move.
Wow that was a total hammering by the sephron upon slannesh!! I’ve fought with my STD army against sephron and definitely can be overwhelming, although I did win a small victory against them 👹👍
I don't think @13:12 you could've used Covering Fire since the Redeploy ability counts as a run movement which turns off shooting unless you have the ability to shoot and run. It's a cute trick but I don't know if it's legal
Jordan, you don’t have to place the Krondspine 9” away from the Gravetide or any Manifestation. They only block units from setting up within 9 (if they have a move char), not other Manifestations. So you could have almost put it straight into combat with the Gravetide or outside 3 to charge and use it to hop off into something else.
@@SeasonofWar i see, because covering fire does not refer to "shoot" in bold letters? So it does not refer to the core ability? In the opposite of counter charge for example?
Slaanesh is so challenging at the moment. The battlescroll was not helpful. I was planning on playing them at WCW in November as my favorite army, but they're just too painful to play.
At 28:55 the Seraphon engine rolled for all targets within 3", it's up to 3 units ! ( the Krox etc have been mentioned by others ) Other than these, interesting battlereport !
Hey Im pretty sure you cannot redeploy then shoot with a unit unless it can run and charge/shoot. I may be wrong but i know you cannot redeploy then counter charge unless you can run and charge? Great game love to see seraphon on the table.
@@SeasonofWar I found a Q&A that explicitly says you can.. so we can XD The wording is similar between counter charging e redeploy, i assumed you couldn't do both.
The Slaanesh points aren't updated, Blissbarb archers are 300 for a reinforced unit and the Seekers are 190 each (380 for a reinforced unit), the list is 2020 points total.
@@SeasonofWar the board looks great and the battle report very fun. You have a new subscriber, thanks for the content. I'm hoping there will be more Seraphon games in the near future.
Awesome battle report as always! Anyone else not a huge fan of the fact that everyone takes a General with literally no one in their regiment? I get WHY people do it (deny priority target and slay the entourage) but it definitely feels like that's not what they intended when they made this rule set. There's not enough benefit to being in a General's Regiment right now imo.
For the re-roll charges - I've seen it played that you have to declare for the chance to re-roll before the roll is made, not after. Is that not the case?
Cass cuttin' deep again. Love it!

Much appreciated!
Raw Dogged Persistence, new favourite term
This was great! I can't find any bat reps with my army, Kruleboyz. I'd love to see how you play them. I learned a lot here.

Yeah, mixup on the Kroxigor, but we actually did catch the Saurus Rally later in the game and removed the extra models iirc.
When the shardspeaker went down, the krondspine should have disappeared as well
OMG I always forget that part of it 😂
@@SeasonofWar Not that it would have mattered anyway, but it's one of the rules I struggle with as well ^^
21:52 I don't think Shalaxi could have made that power through move into the combat range of the Kroxigors since she wasn't in combat with them when she started the move.
You are correct, I'd have had to just tag the Saurus Warriors and pile into the Kroxigor!

Nah, Run doesn't let you use the Shoot ability. Covering Fire is a different ability which says nothing about Run.

Same goes for the Gravetide that Ridge put down after!
Oh man, hadn't thought of that - thanks for the great tip Tom! ♥️
I throught gravetide also counts as a unit since it has a move characteric?
During movment They count as unit, both enemy and yours, you have definitely to put them 9" apart. (Only exception is If they don't have a move value)
@@Strade8 the distinction is that moving endless spells restrict the placement of UNITS, but not other manifestations.
How do you refeploy the Huanchi in turn 1 and make them covering fire later during the same turn?? Do they get some run & shoot from something??
The wording of covering fire is such that it is not restricted by running/redeploying.
@@SeasonofWar i see, because covering fire does not refer to "shoot" in bold letters? So it does not refer to the core ability?

@@thomasmatu that's correct!

Yeah they're definitely really challenged against the more competitive armies - hope they do something more soon!
How did the warriors feel? I’ve heard arguments that it’s better to just take more raptadons
At 28:55 the Seraphon engine rolled for all targets within 3", it's up to 3 units ! ( the Krox etc have been mentioned by others ) Other than these, interesting battlereport !
The krox warspawned are -1 rend from shooting attacks.
Hey! Thanks for a good battle rep. Why didn't you charge with gravetide into the archers in the back in turn 2?
Maybe tried and failed.. the video is edited in that part.
Thanks

They have retread and charge.. but yeah, redeploy is a run ability.
All units can redeploy/covering fire because of the specific wording of covering fire!

This was video'ed pre-update it seems
For example slaanesh was worried about giving automatic 9" charge from reserve with slaanesh dice when it's just 44.5%
Pre battlescroll, yeah?

Ennemy général killed or in mêlée

Great vidéo as usual 👍
Shalaxi couldn't power through to get in combat with kroxigors as she was not in combat with them before

Those kind of mistakes could be so easy to avoid if GW just did at least a little bit of play testing. Alas they never could do consistent good rules.
For the re-roll charges - I've seen it played that you have to declare for the chance to re-roll before the roll is made, not after.
Is that not the case?
That is not correct, the roll is part of the declare step, and you re-roll in reaction to the declare step.
Sadly list shown is not that what you explained but still fun to watch!🎉
Saurus warriors on the objective would have been a 3+ so would have saved those bow shots on 4's
at the end of seraphon turn three the malstrom should have exploded you have 6 point and with new rules it a not an option
This was filmed pre update
Omg whyyyyyy so dark??? Can I pleasesee wtf is going on
