Ooh, those look great for everyday wear, me likey. That elastic wouldn't be good for performance, especially any sideways motion, like going down hill or something, but you've got so many other designs that fit that bill. Happy Holidays Shamma Fam!!!!
Thanks, they are pretty awesome. They are very comfortable and more performance oriented than you would think. I have run a couple hundreds miles in them so far and I love them. I have no problem running in them on the trail and they work laterally as long as you are not planted then twist. That being said we have a bunch of models and you would probably really like our elite lacing system if you want huarache style laces or trailstar if you want over the foot. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Josh
@@Shammasandals, thanks Josh. I'll invest one day, but I've enjoyed all the runs along the coast videos in the meantime, especially during this time of year when we spend a lot of time indoors. 😄
Is this a 4mm base? Another brand is so thin, the front of the sandal catches on surfaces and trips me. I do not wear them anymore. Thanks for progressing.
I’ve had super thin minimalist sandals from a few other companies and have had the same issue. For what it’s worth I’ve yet to experience that with anything I’ve had from Shamma so far. In my opinion they do a better job with their lacing system that always seems to prevent that for me. It might also be that they use a different Vibram sole that prevents it. I’m not sure what they do, but whatever it is I’ve somehow never had any of the same issues with Shamma that I have with others.
The soles featured in this video are 6 and 7mm soles. Like the rest of our lineup you can choose the type of soles you like best to go with the lacing system. We are going to make a 9mm option available very soon.

The big difference is the lacing system. Otherwise you can order the same soles as Numa. The Numa lacing is by far our most user friendly and convenient because of the elastic forefoot strap. Essentially it allows you to slip the sandal on without the use of your hands. They are also very comfortable.
Why don't yall change the color of the strap instead. I feel like matching th sole color with he strap and bringing different colors would make the sandal more attractive like #pyoppfledge sandals from Indonesia ,hell they even have them in olive green.

Hey Shamma Team! Any chance you could make Numa Warriors in kids’ sizes? My little ones are super keen on them! Thanks a bunch!

How do they compare to the cuzers?
