I have no idea about his Scottish accent, but Daniel's *American* accent in Get Out is the best I've ever heard from a non-American actor. He doesn't just sound natural; he sounds lazy about it - in the best possible way.
His accent on Widows was even better. He also has a swagger that just embodies a New Yorker or something. It's almost offensive when you realize he's British!
He’s so London it’s honestly really refreshing to see someone just being themselves after huge success and international stardom. He reminds me of just my mates that I’d hang around with. No filter. Just pleasant energy all round.
Ahh. Thanks for posting; was searching through the comments section for a reminder of which actress it was that owned the lovely smile I recognized in this video. (Margot Robbie.)
'I landed in Liverpool' is so accurate because I always try and do a Scottish accent just for bants with my Scottish flatmate and apparently, I just sound really Scouse xD
You'll be surprised how many actors in America are Brits... Think we can do a basic US accent fairly well...just doesn't work that well the other way round lol.
I find myself so incredibly intrigued by Daniel Kaluuya! There is something so inviting about his presence that I can't quite put my finger one but it's just amazing and I can listen to him talk all day...
First of all, I could watch Graham Norton all day and never be bored! Secondly, he just asks the right amount of questions, and I say amount because he just lets the guest run with their stories. Unlike American talk show hosts who has to tell their own stories to sort of be somewhat relevant. And lastly, Graham should get all the awards, he always keeps everything interesting, doesnt ask stupid questions and for heaven’s sake he’s got booze on set!
Most people think of Daniel Kaluuya from 'Get Out', but the first role I saw him in was a British show called 'The Fades' where he played a character called Mac. I loved him in that show! 10 years later, and I'm STILL mad that show was cancelled!😭
First and so far only thing I've seen him in (only because I don't watch much TV or many movies) was an episode of Doctor Who, way back in 2009 (pre-The Fades having looked it up). Wasn't a major role, but he had his little bits to shine.
I'm not an actor and I've never auditioned for anything, but I feel like I understand what so many people get wrong about auditions. It seems most people make the mistake of thinking they're like interviews, they're not. They're not trying to get to know you, they just want to see your acting ability. They have dozens and dozens of people to get through so taking up their time by trying to make small talk is a bad move
No one is going to mention the gorgeous Jodie Turner Smith and her glowing self. Plus she has extra points of awesome cause she is having my crush's baby. That kids is going to be so darn adorable.🤗🤗🤗
I dated an "actor" who tried out for a commercial about Scotland. He tried his accent out on me, and instead of sounding Scottish, he sounded like an American on drugs trying to sound Irish. It was so bad that I was offended on behalf of both my Scottish and Irish ancestors. I've never even been either of those places but still, I was offended. That's how terrible it was.
@Commenter x Well, yes, if you were born in Scotland, grew up in Scotland, it's more than likely that you'll have the Scottish accent, this said having a Scottish accent doesn't make you of Scottish heritage, you would have the heritage of your biological parents.
The black lady next to Daniel is Jodie Turner Smith. They both played the lead roles in Queen and Slim which you can watch at the cinema. Some education for you guys.
I dated a guy who thought he was an actor. He went to an audition that required a Scottish accent. He was born and raised in Long Beach, California, and his attempt at a Scottish accent sounded like he was attempting an Irish accent, and was also smoking crack.
Is it OK to think the lady on the end has the most gorgeous skin tone ever? Not trying to patronise or anything literally just can't stop staring at her thinking how gorgeous she is!
I have no idea about his Scottish accent, but Daniel's *American* accent in Get Out is the best I've ever heard from a non-American actor. He doesn't just sound natural; he sounds lazy about it - in the best possible way.
Yes, his American accent seems so real!
His accent on Widows was even better. He also has a swagger that just embodies a New Yorker or something. It's almost offensive when you realize he's British!

Give me an exemple of british actors turnt weird after they got famous ?
I just wish he'd done a Scottish accent at the end of this story!
London? It’s a over the top Caribbean/African accent that isn’t indigenous to our capital. A true cockney doesn’t speak like this.
