Amazing review again ! Normally, I'm not so interested of the boot review. But now that I have a Stand Up Paddleboard, I need to pump it with my electrical pump and the plug near the handbrake is not very convenient. So was waiting for the review of the boot and you give exactly the example I was waiting... Pump the paddleboard hahaha... Thank you again and long life to Autogefühl !

Probably the best one in this segment. I am looking forward to test drive one. The facelift has yet to arrive in my home country. Very nice and informative review by the way.
Thomas and the child safety test for the rear hatch is one of the unique features you only get with Autogefühl's reviewing style and is a must for every car that uses automatic close mechanism.

Outside i find it very nice and interesting, more than tiguan, Q3, kamiq and so on ... but the interiors, damn, they could do just a bit more and this car was a best buy in my opinion

Hi Thomas! Do you know anything about the facelift of Skoda Kodiaq? Seems like they’re testing it
I like the subtle changes design-wise. Some good updates and it's nice, for some at least, that they didn't bring the touch-enabled climate panel etc.
But there are also some missed opportunities, like why no PHEV version? That would've been on my shortlist. If they keep that for the new generation Ateca it will probably be in 2023 and I think they are missing out. Or maybe they want us to go for the Formentor instead.. but that will probably be much more expensive 🙄

Autogefühl Already did :) Now waiting for the drive experience review :) And I hope that you didn't forget about Tarraco FR review:) One more thing regarding DCC you recommend everywhere. I have Tiguan with DCC, tried Cupra with DCC and had not such great experience on not even roads in regarding various annoying chassis sounds:( This sucks great time at least for me and is one of major negative points in my Tiguan:(

Love this model - tried 3 powertrains, all fun - super solid build, great sound - and it just got better! Just get the one with the REAL volume KNOB GANG! Btw. Where’s the PHEV?!?!?!?!?????

A month or two ago I was indecisive between the ateca and tiguan. At that time I was leaning toward the tiguan. Both now have been updated and now I think I'm leaning more toward the ateca, and less toward the tiguan (for looks at least). Not changing the car for about 6 months so have time to decide. When I see both in the flesh it may make the decision harder again. Decisions decisions, very difficult

Being a facelift , its a good idea to buy the "old" version. I have a 15' golf 7 and will wait one more year before buying the prefacelift ateca with 190hp fr. I will buy it 10k cheaper with 3 y warranty .

Still confuses me how for an SUV, the Cupra Ateca never got any power outlets in the trunk compartment or cargo net hook points (which I noticed this didn't have either)🤦♂️
Regular Seat Ateca has that..i don't know for Cupra..
I don't really like the new grey interior finish, looks like an old Volvo V40 from 2010...

My Seat dealer told me that the ‘Leather’ in my Ateca Lux is synthetic. I bought it as I wanted the driving aids like ACC and adaptive Lane Control, and didn’t have the choice of fabric for this spec of car. I hope they were right as I didn’t have the choice of fabric seats for the spec I wanted. I wish manufacturers would allow you to easily select the ‘ethical’ option and not force you to have ‘leather’ for higher spec cars. 😞

I don't see the need to electrify everything, honestly, it's better that they don't, as it adds to the price and doesn't add to the performance of the car, not to mention if it's running a small battery pack then it will be super slow charging, which means that long road trips (more than 200km) will still be running on the combustion engine entirely. Not everyone lives in a city where their work is a 5-10min drive away. As well as draining the battery below 10% is harmful to the batteries and will diminish the battery life and overall capacity, meaning you're obligated to stop and charge your battery pack, or it's going to lose close to half of its full capacity in just a year or two.
I was looking at this as a "budget" car to get and also checking on the new BMW iX and other fully electric vehicles and after realizing that all the charging stations in my country are only 50kW, the dream of owning an electric vehicle vanished entirely, as I'm not gonna sit there for 2 hours just to charge my vehicle fully. Sadly, we're still lacking "superchargers" and battery packs that can take a lot of energy at once. So for me, a pure combustion engine is the only option, kind of a forced option I'd say. Maybe in another 10 years, this will change, but for now, having electric vehicles, without a proper means to charge them outside of your own garage is a waste, the saving I'd get from owning an electric vehicle compared to combustion are negligible if you factor in your own time.
This is of course because I take quite long trips very frequently.

Yes, it's like a volkswagen but it has the plus of spanish engineering

Ford kuga 2020
The pre-facelift Ateca was very uninspired and basic in it's design language and although the facelift isn't a massive departure I do think it looks much more distinctively Seat. The cursive on the boot looks odd, though especially the lonely '4'.
From the inside it is a copy of the previous model Leon , updated with the new infotainment software and a different steering wheel.
The Seat Ateca is a mixed of Volkswagen and Audi

Sorry Seat, but you still don’t have heated rear seats in 2021 ?? For me is it big fail !! Skoda Karoq have this for 176€ and USB for security camera for 76€ 👎🏻
It was great design as it was,sporty, brutal, nothing to add. Why always someone ruin good design?
god bless them for not imposing those absurd hhybrid engines. I don't like suvs but if I had to buy one I'd buy Ateca and with 1.5 tsi. it weights as a golf so that engine does well its work. if this was a real offroad I'd go for diesel instead but as it's not like all suvs... better the mid petrol engine : about 1330 kgs
