All I used was some painting tape, plastic trim tool and heat gun. Heated them up and pried them off with the trim tool. All the glue came right off with them. Cleaned up the area and attached the new ones. But I have a x5M so no camera in the rear emblem.

Was it the same process for the rear? I got a 118i 2021, bought new badges but worry I'd mess up prying the existing ones open lmao

Good job, but this does not apply to an F80 or F82, with the camera problem in the rear for example.
