      I used your toddler prep books (printable) as well as the reading and maths to teach my 1 year old and she is now 4 and reading books at grade 3 level. It really does work :) thanks

    Using your tips, my oldest was reading before 2 years old. He's 4 now and can read multisyablic words and chapter books fluently (around 3rd grade level).

    I stombled on a video of you talking about teaching letter sounds to kids first to learn how to read in 2018 or so and decided to use your strategy to teach my son who is non verbal and autistic.
    To our surprise he started reading 3 letter words before he was 4, he is now in grade 1 and reading at grade 4 to 5 level.
    I want to thank you for making a difference in my family's life by equipping me with this knowledge that gave our autistic and non verbal son a head start in school and in life...I just want to say thank you JadyA.
    God bless you and your family.
    From a proud dad.

    Hi Jady, your videos are so helpful. I'm homeschooling my six year old daughter and was wondering if you could share some tips on how much writing a six year old should do in a day. My daughter is a fluent reader and writer but just wondering if there's a certain amount of writing kids at that age should be doing on a daily basis. Thanks :)

    I purchased elemental phones level one for my 5 year old she knows all her short vowel sounds and identifies capital and lowercase matters but she has trouble blending. She will say the two sounds but can’t blend them on level one lesson 1. What do you recommend I do? She just turned 5.

    My children are 2.5 and 4. I feel so bad sometimes like I’m too late teaching them. My 4 year old isn’t recognizing letters and numbers yet and doesn’t like singing the alphabet song. I’m hoping I can start now with this and see improvement

      The alphabet is not that important to be honest. Learning the name of each letter means very little if they don't know what the sound is. I get my 4 and 2.5 year Olds to watch the videos on this channel every day. It's about two to three videos where she shows her kids repeating sound letter names, or reading, or the black and white screen one is great as well. Just keep at it, 10-15 minutes a day! Even if you don't think they are getting anything! And don't worry, my four year old is the same, can't recognize too much D, and barely 1-10 lol. But I bet your littles have other areas where they thrive! For my 4 yr old it's gymnastics and creativity, and my 2.5 is gymnastics and music. They will learn at their own pace! :)

    • @tamraya23
      @tamraya23 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You’re never late! Please don’t let the comparison to others bring you down. A 4yo doesn’t need to read at this age. Sure it sounds so cool but it’s all about how you’re doing it not when. If you teach a child properly how to read at 4 then you’re giving him/her a good head start so is the 6 or 7yo. Even if you send your kids to public or private schools it’s good to teach them how to read at home so they don’t get lost in the chaos of schools and fall behind. All children of all ages deserve a good foundation in reading.
