I have searched everywhere for a solution to my problem of not being able to install "office" - I went through all these steps that were shown and after each step I tried to install Office and it wasn´t until the last step that it worked - I am so happy and want to thank you very much for your clear and easy instructions.

I am afraid none of these worked for me... I click on the 2007 W32 installer accept the user access control and it opens up a window for a second saying "extracting" or something - the window immediately closes and that's it. The exact same installer on a different PC and it works...

No luck, I had 2007 installed, tried to install 2021, it errored out with a non specific error then suggested uninstalling previous version, 2007 errored out every time I tried uninstalling, manually deleted Office folders I could find, used the Microsoft SARA app to uninstall ALL previous versions, tried everything in this guide and still can't get any version (2007, 2010, 2019 or 2021) to install, they all error out in some way, 07 errors with a "can't find visio viewer 2005 folder" error and reverts install, 2010 does similiar but is a start menu shortcut folder for Office it can't find and even if I manually create those folders it still forks off at the same point, 2019 and 2021 just get random errors, tell you i'm on the verge of resetting the computer or upgrading to windows 11 but I don't know if my work software from 2010 will run on Windows 11, it already has issues running on Windows 10 where it crashes every time I close it and I had to install a Service Pack update for it just to get it to even run at all on Windows 10.

For those who still have a hard time installing it. Try to disable/uninstall Anti virus. It works for me. hope it works in you too. :)
