Nice to see a reaction from some folks who only saw it as kids and haven't revisited. I've been a fan since the original 1993 series myself and have come back to the series from time to time. The Tommy character was originally introduced as the evil Green Ranger, then joined the team, eventually turning to White, and Red with different power upgrades. The actor later reprised his role in the 2004 series leading a new younger team as a Black Ranger. He made various appearances through the Power Rangers series, his last being in the 25th anniversary episode in 2018. The initial first 6 season/years of Power Rangers connected and flowed closely, with cast changes explained in story (the "Zordon Era"), but subsequent series moved to single season format that restarted fresh with brand new casts/teams/characters each year that made little reference to previous seasons besides occasional team ups/anniversary episodes. This changed a bit in the last couple of seasons as Power Rangers has hit that nostalgic period for fans who grew up with it. So glad to see Netflix was able to help put some eyes on it and celebrate with this 30th anniversary special.
