Thank You! This car was everyone's favorite back in the day. I had one myself for a little while but didn't care for the build quality and the higher insurance rates that came with it. I was 24 years old then and I spent more on my insurance premiums than I did on the actual payment on the car. So, I had to sell it for those reasons and because my daughter had just come into our lives. Getting a car seat into that car was back breaking. Thanks for watching.
Thank You! I have had that paint laying around here for a while now. So, I decided that it would look great on this build. It's supposed to be Black Cherry but it does have a purple look to it.
True to an extent. If it’s a snap kit it should be sold as such. Definitely shouldn’t be sold at the price point as a glue kit with 3times the parts count. Revell has been doing this with multiple kits the last couple years.
I agree with you on the price point. It should be lower than what it is and that's why I hesitated on buying it for a while. When I was at the Hobby Lobby during the 40% off sale I decided to go ahead and get it. I don't understand why Revell is doing these type of things but for one reason, greed. That's why I only buy what I want if it's on sale and even then it's more than I want to pay but I need more recent kits for channel content. I have over 200 80's and 90's kits that when I build them for the channel, I get very low response from the viewers on them. So, I do what I have to do to keep things moving along.
Thank You! I had seen a review on this kit a while back and so I wasn't to surprised when I opened the box. I was surprised at how well it went together though. It is 100% a snap kit but that doesn't mean that it has to look bad. There are a lot of ways that this could be built but I generally stick to box stock with only a few little modifications here and there. Thanks for watching!
I have had this can of Krylon Black Cherry paint hanging around for a couple of years and I have used it on a couple of other builds, on this one though, it really fit the car. The silver paint was something that I had recently bought for another project but decided to use on bottom trim for this. the two colors do work well together. Thanks for watching!
I just finished this kit. Its simple ,due to being a snap kit ,but it builds up nice. I modified it a bit and it was fun to paint. I loke what you did with yours. If you want to see what i did with mine th-cam.com/play/PLbcIW8ECKWgPkv6bBhXV94qYWbhgUWyMi.html&si=5KWOJ3RcNjkg5iUE
I just checked out a couple of the videos in your series with this kit and one that I had recently done as well. What brand of clear did you apply that disagreed with the Vallejo silver? I love the wheels choice that you went with on that Camaro. Thanks for watching!
Looks good. Right down my alley. She's on my list. Thanks for sharing.

I did the same thing, just bought it during the 40% off sale. Looks great, thanks for the build.
Thank You! Buying during any sale is so much more economical. It is the only way to save some cash.
Tasty looking!!! Loving that purple you used!! Beautiful work!

I totally agree with you! I believe just because it is a snap together doesn't mean it has to look like it.

I always enjoy your videos man keep on doing them you do a grate job describing everything as well
Thanks! I do my best to inform you all of the good and bad of each kit.
That’s a decent kit for a snap kit
I agree, it isn't bad at all. Way better than the 81 Z28 with the plastic tires.
@@scaleautoguysworkbench absolutely 👍
I love the color choices here. I have to get this kit.

I used tamiya ts 13 clear. It didn’t like the Vallejo for some reason. I’ll have the final reveal video up soon
