Yulia is a wonderful person and a very talented dancer. I am sure Shirley had offered her a lot of secrets to Yulia who became even better than they were the champions in the U.S. already. And what you are saying is that the judges who placed M&J first and thought that they deserved the title are also "lacking in personal quality".

@HM8290 not staying for the last dance was a bit uncalled for,they must've been really upset then, and in general a title does make you feel more accomplished because even if you know you are putting in a wealth of work and knowledge noone else acknowledges it as much until you bear a title of note otherwise everyone would be satisfied to just dance the first round. But graciousness in the face of defeat is usually a difficult pill to swallow esp when its a world title, can't say i blame him
