I enjoy R&Y dancing because they are so having fun in their dancing , trusting each other, smiling always . R is always treating Yulia attentively , like a gentleman ! M&J dances like just wanna to win , as if someone owes them a million bucks .... They are good dances but lack of sportsmanship .
M&J could have been a little more generous and stayed. They got a loooot of love from the audiences and the judges, they can afford to be a little gracious when they lose.
THE most beautiful dress I have ever seen on the dancefloor. THey really are THE most exquisite looking couple!! Bravo to them.
PS: Bad form for M&J to walk off - great dancers with no manners. Sad !!

@DancesportReviews: Aahh, you're here too. This time making excuses for M&J lack of a personal character, respect for others. I agree with @HM8290 that personal character is more important than a title, even a world title. It defines who you are, and your excuses also defined who you are. Now I truly understand your comments on the "results" video. You are an entrenched M&J supporter, lacking in a personal quality, honesty. Even your screen name screams it.
Because M&J thought they are unbeatable! Well they are wrong aren't they? Go Y & R! :)

@DancesportReviews didn't even stay for the last dance. Way to respect the audience. " no, NOW that i am pissed off, Im not gonna dance for you" a title is a title, character is who you are! and IF a title makes you feel more important or accomplished..I feel compassion and pity for you.
Riccardo & Yulia are perfection & compliment each other beautifully.
Michael & Joanna are such sore losers & beyond rude leaving before R&Y danced out of petulance.
They did the same thing when they lost the year before as well.

I dislike Joanna's dancing. Great dancer, great technique, athleticism, speed and flexibility, yet I never really like ANY of their dances. Strange given their talent, but their style does not seem Latin to me at all, and Joanna needs to try something different with her hair, that butch white hair is hideous!

@IX19UT8O I am not about to sit behind a computer screen and judge the personal character of people i have never met, because i know that they are just that, people. people with dreams and aspirations and emotions that they can't always control, I have never attacked Y&R on a personal level for the same reasons. And what you are saying is that the judges who placed M&J first and thought that they deserved the title are also "lacking in personal quality".

Yulia has its own grace and glamour on the dance floor... they're the most stunning couple here which justifies their being being a winner in this competition... MJ also has their own style and i so much admire it...
Years ago, Yulia and I were in the same workshop by Shirley Ballas. The impression of my conversation with her was that she is a very lovely person. Dancing these days proves that she is extremely talented. I am not surprised that she became the World best Latin female dancer. Riccardo? humm!

@IX19UT8O and what exactly is my screen name "screaming" Dancesportreviews.......really....what exactly does that scream other that " I review dance sport". In future please refrain form making personal assumptions about people because they do not agree with you, and where in any of my statements about M&J did i say that they were right for not doing the group honour dance, if Y&J had lost the title and not done the dance i wonder if you would be as harsh on them.

Being a first born,Slavik could make himself the best dancer in the world is also to limit his adaptability to dance with, say another first born lady. Very much like the experience I went through in my own marriage, a first born married to another first born. There was not a good day from the begining ! @HM8290 not staying for the last dance was a bit uncalled for,they must've been really upset then, and in general a title does make you feel more accomplished because even if you know you are putting in a wealth of work and knowledge noone else acknowledges it as much until you bear a title of note otherwise everyone would be satisfied to just dance the first round. But graciousness in the face of defeat is usually a difficult pill to swallow esp when its a world title, can't say i blame him
I am very sad. With Slavik as a yard stick, I feel very sad for the future of Latin dancing if What all Riccardo could do is moving his legs around, so fast as to camouflage most of the time,without any solid basic trainning, and without any Cuban Motion....Then why didn't Slavik win instead? Well, it is a long story. I do not have enough space here to go into that today. All I could say is that I am prejudiced, I only wanted to learn from Slavik. He is my only teacher I could learn from.
