Hi everyone, and welcome! Today I'm decorating my kitchen island, with a mixture of items. A couple of the items I recently purchased from GOODWILL and some items I already had.

Yes, I love the greenery so much better. I probably would have cut the greens that the carrots came with and clued pieces of the pretty greens to the carrots. Love the colors of the flowers too. Always beautiful work!

Great finds with the rooster basket and plate, you have a great eye. The whimsy of the artificial carrots it’s a nice touch. I would love to see your garden! I’d also prefer to see fresh flowers and greenery in your grandmothers pitcher instead of the Faux flowers.

I would have loved to be able to incorporate fresh cut flowers but sadly we had gypsy moth caterpillars very bad this spring and they caused much devastation to our trees and flower gardens. So sadly I wasn't able to continue with sharing my gardens. Have a wonderful weekend.

Any time my friend 🤗 I'm so happy with how my carrots turned out. I have to tell yah those greenery from Michaels are awesome! Lol. I use them sooo much. I have no idea how many of them I even have but I know it's a lot. And my basket was definitely a great find. It really amazes me the stuff that people get rid of! Love your counter top and what you did with the basket and plate. I also love to use old vintage items in my decor. It's always more personal that way! You have "several" flower gardens??? Lucky you! Would love to see them. Since we moved to Oregon from S. Calif., its been really hard. Winter snd evening frost arent over until June 14th. Then we have deer and bunnies, etc. But, I keep on trying! Last year our first Covid project was to make an enclosed area for flowers without buying a single thing! It turned out so cute!

I love gardening and I can totally relate to your deer and bunny issues. Our home is surrounded by woods on all sides. It looks like someone set our home in the middle of a forest! Lol. So I've had plants and flowers eaten for dinner many times. Your temperatures wood make it difficult for planting, but don't give up. Where there's a will there's a way👍🙏. I walk into Goodwill and see junk. You walk in and find treasures. The basket is beautiful and the plate is made for it. My favourite thing, though, is your grandmother’s pitcher. And I also love your carrots.
