Spectacular. Impeccable editing. There were scenes where I was almost certain you were dead but you came out on top. I'd say those 6 hours a day for 6 months has paid off.
It's a big time investment, but they are fun to put together. The best part is being able to share the experience with others, maybe get some players interested in trying something new.
One of the most effortful and well produced pvp videos ive ever seen. Very awesome, my first 60 was a Night elf Feral (mostly Bear) druid and I always wondered what it would been like if played well. Well I think this is my 14 year old fantasy come to life lol. Very awesome plays, most I understood and some Im sure went over my head but loved it either way. The song around ~17m was my entire teenage years of pvping on WoW condensed into one song lmao.
Landmines will be sorely missed, hopefully Blizzard decides change their mind and put them back in. They were a source of great entertainment while playing and made AV more enjoyable.

Our guild used to play Lineage 2 for 6 years. Then they moved to WoW Classic when it was released, but I joined only 2 weeks ago. I asked my guild leader whom should I lvl up to be helpful. He said that Fury Warrior will make sense. I lvled him up for 2 days, and I was constantly thinking that I do not enjoy the class, that I have to play what I love to play with. So I rolled into a Feral, as it is aesthetically and mechanically-wise, what I was looking for. Play what you love and what drives you, that's the key for a good WOW memories later on boys :) PS Great editing, for now it is the best Feral montage I have seen so far, keep it up man!

Mostly the pvp set and more stam/physical damage focused items. You get a good amount of int from the pvp set so you don't need to compensate as much with int/stam/spell damage gear as you might need to in Classic phases one+two.

I believe that the feral hybrid spec gives more versatility, utility, and survivability than the deep feral variant. Although full feral does technically do more damage, feral hybrid is able to put out more pressure between good melee damage, dots, and especially NS+Heal. While full feral is still viable, I don't believe it to be as strong as feral hybrid in your average pvp setting.
I’m a little late here, but does this still hold up in Fresh? Can someone help with the actual talent build? I’ve been playing with the calculator but not sure if it looks right.

Them removing the need to shift into bear form to counter some classes was a huge mistake The whole reason of wanting to play a Druid is to feel like a hybrid that can do a bit of everything
Does feel a bit strange not being able to do a few things that they changed later on in TBC/WotLK (i.e. barkskin in form), however it still feels good and plays like a hybrid class. The hardest part can be getting the gear from raiding, just need to find a guild that is willing to earn items now and then (like Band of Accuria). Druids are definitely useful in Arathi Basin as well, however usually you only see one, maybe two max. They are fantastic at defending nodes, so you will be spending a lot of your time either defending farm/stables (sometimes GM/LM/BS) or trying to ninja a node with the rogue on your team if you are down a node and looking to pull ahead. Occasionally if your team is short healers, you can be a part of the beginning BS fight and roam with groups afterward. I did this occasionally when we were short healers and focused on ccing players were that on healers, abolish for viper sting, rooting other melee who weren't getting priority on cleanses, and spot healing. Can still put out a bit of damage too, if you're feeling spicy.

Gathering professions are pretty strong while leveling, especially skinning because you can control the drop rate in a sense, as you can skill the mobs you kill, rather than happening across a node that may or may not be there. There will also be a large demand for arcanite bars, cured rugged hides and other such items with lengthy cooldowns.

That's a good point about the skinning I never thought about that it was basically free money every time you kill a beast.

Personally, I use shift+1-4 for mine, but its personal preference. I would suggest trying to put important followup abilities close to whatever keys you utilize though. For example, I have shift+3 for cat form and stealth on 4 so I don't have to do keyboard gymnastics.

You're right that it can be quite hard to find quality montages these days because of the prominence of streaming. TH-cam wasn't even around until 2005, and even after it was released it wasn't really feasible be able to stream video with the types of connections that people generally had. The preferred format at the time was downloading videos that were just a few hundred MB and those lent well to the montage culture. A bit of a shame really, because the montages are one of the big pieces of gaming that really stick around with us in our memories.
@@teamspoh That's true for me, as well. Most of my music tastes in my teens were because of the music used in the montages. I still watch Bebep 1 or 2 to this day, and I'm sure I'll find myself watching this video in the coming years. With better CPUs and WoW classic low requirements maybe montages or even machinimas will resurface a little. For nostalgia sake. Who knows?

I’m new to WoW and I’m currently a level 30 Druid. First off this video is amazing! My question is though is this spec also viable to do some tanking and dps in dungeons and raids as well? This play style looks super fun and interesting and I’m playing Druid because I love the hybrid aspect of the class and not being stuck to one roll but I’m stuck between the build you’ve posted and a 14/31/5 build I’ve been seeing a lot on forums
This spec is fine for everything in dungeons, except for dps. I've also done both tanking/healing with the spec in raids and while it's not optimal, its more than enough to get content done in a decent amount of time.
Great video :) Which addon are you using to tell you their HP I notice it changes after a second when you fight someone to the real health? Is it real mob health ?
I have checked and installed and tested mobhealth3 now on classic and as of 09/09/2019 I don't see it working. Also as per a few threads online it has had some issues so if someone could confirm it's working and share how they have it set up it would be great. I notice that it loads in the addons but typing /mh3 brings up nothing so my thoughts are that it is not currently working with the classic client or whatever. I have tried to update the .toc file however still not seeing it operational via slashcommands so if anyone knows what else one can do to get it working on this version of wow classic it would be great :)
@@sgtharden Good question, wearing just stam/int gear isn't necessarily bad, but I believe it defeats the purpose of going feral hybrid in the first place. That said, you do want a decent mana pool to play with and a good amount of health, but a lot of your power comes from consistent damage, no matter what form you're in. If you stack too much stam/int gear (especially early on), you will find yourself doing lackluster damage in cat/bear form and relying a lot more heavily on spells and at that point, you're probably better off just speccing for balance hybrid.
I want to play a Druid, but im kind of confused what gear you need. You basically need agi int and stam, but there are only a few pieces that have all 3, so how do you gear a druid for pvp?
Ideally, its less of what stat is "best" by stacking it, but by hitting certain thresholds. For example, picking up 5% hit to negate the chance to miss is great as is shooting for a 4k mana pool (without a major int weapon like Argent Crusader). In general, you'll want to have a good mix of stamina, strength, and agility with enough intellect to give you a mana pool that you feel you can work with. Gearing well will be satisfying the spread of stats while hitting these thresholds. If you're looking for specifics, I do have plans to release a tier list of gear I'm looking to acquire.

Deadass, this is the sort of shit I wished I knew how to do back in the day, it's so satisfying seeing a good druid player - a class that's commonly thrown under the bus because "it's vanilla, they're shit outside brez" - absolutely demolish classes that are often to go to picks like mages and rogues.
Fresh druid here ( been playing on retail tho ) lvl 38. Love your videos man, incredible. Just that i, along others, really need some sort of gear list because the itemization is so weird in classic and for example i never get a stam/int item over an agi/stam str/stam or even atk power item, as i feel that is the way for feral. I understand that i need to be hybrid, and i look forward to that. Currently i run "viscous hammer" it seems to be bis for my level. A gear guide would be appreciated by many ! I know you are working on it just please make sure it ends up on youtube. I will be following on twitch as well.

Technically, yes you could and it might be nice. The problem is that you would also spend hours upon hours farming them and that you lose the utility of your offhand item. Certainly a consideration to stockpile for a competitive event.
Getting a good spread of stats is super important for feral hybrid, I mention some of my gear selection in the video description. I'm also putting together a gear tierlist for the spec as well.

The hunter was garbage though he could of just spammed scare beast to fear him away.
@@stick6860 scare beast is avoidable and has a 30(?) Sec cd
Svenrad Konrad 30 second cd but it will last for around 15 seconds giving you plenty of time to get a full reset

With better CPUs and WoW classic low requirements maybe montages or even machinimas will resurface a little. For nostalgia sake. Who knows?

I got a question to the talents. Why did you put a skill point in insect sawm instead of putting 1 point into reflection?
Insect swarm is a fantastic talent. For one extra talent point you get an extra dot that deals decent damage for low mana cost.
I feel like an idiot asking this but was is the addon used for the 3d nameplates that give both you and your targets level, info, and all that?

I’m new to WoW and I’m currently a level 30 Druid. First off this video is amazing! My question is though is this spec also viable to do some tanking and dps in dungeons and raids as well? This play style looks super fun and interesting and I’m playing Druid because I love the hybrid aspect of the class and not being stuck to one roll but I’m stuck between the build you’ve posted and a 14/31/5 build I’ve been seeing a lot on forums
This spec is fine for everything in dungeons, except for dps. I've also done both tanking/healing with the spec in raids and while it's not optimal, its more than enough to get content done in a decent amount of time.
Is there an addon for Classic yet that shows nameplates + Debuff icons above them like in this vid?
Yes, they are also included in my UI suite for Classic WoW, which you can find by going to my Twitch channel and typing !addons.

Great video :) Which addon are you using to tell you their HP I notice it changes after a second when you fight someone to the real health? Is it real mob health ?
MobHealth3, works with the Luna Unit Frames addon and other such mods.

I have checked and installed and tested mobhealth3 now on classic and as of 09/09/2019 I don't see it working. Also as per a few threads online it has had some issues so if someone could confirm it's working and share how they have it set up it would be great. I notice that it loads in the addons but typing /mh3 brings up nothing so my thoughts are that it is not currently working with the classic client or whatever. I have tried to update the .toc file however still not seeing it operational via slashcommands so if anyone knows what else one can do to get it working on this version of wow classic it would be great :)

I go into it a bit in the video description, its a mix of blue dungeon gear and the rank 13 set mostly.
@@teamspoh Why did you pick more melee-centric gear instead of the more typical Stam/Int gear?
@@sgtharden Good question, wearing just stam/int gear isn't necessarily bad, but I believe it defeats the purpose of going feral hybrid in the first place. That said, you do want a decent mana pool to play with and a good amount of health, but a lot of your power comes from consistent damage, no matter what form you're in. If you stack too much stam/int gear (especially early on), you will find yourself doing lackluster damage in cat/bear form and relying a lot more heavily on spells and at that point, you're probably better off just speccing for balance hybrid.
I want to play a Druid, but im kind of confused what gear you need. You basically need agi int and stam, but there are only a few pieces that have all 3, so how do you gear a druid for pvp?
Ideally, its less of what stat is "best" by stacking it, but by hitting certain thresholds. For example, picking up 5% hit to negate the chance to miss is great as is shooting for a 4k mana pool (without a major int weapon like Argent Crusader). In general, you'll want to have a good mix of stamina, strength, and agility with enough intellect to give you a mana pool that you feel you can work with. Gearing well will be satisfying the spread of stats while hitting these thresholds. If you're looking for specifics, I do have plans to release a tier list of gear I'm looking to acquire.

Most of it is blue gear before pre-pvp set, except for the few AV clips which includes the pvp set. More info is in the description.
Deadass, this is the sort of shit I wished I knew how to do back in the day, it's so satisfying seeing a good druid player - a class that's commonly thrown under the bus because "it's vanilla, they're shit outside brez" - absolutely demolish classes that are often to go to picks like mages and rogues.
Underrated class, but super satisfying to play!

Warlocks and shadow priests are among the most difficult for druids to deal with, but I wouldn't consider them hard counters either.

Fresh druid here ( been playing on retail tho ) lvl 38. Love your videos man, incredible. Just that i, along others, really need some sort of gear list because the itemization is so weird in classic and for example i never get a stam/int item over an agi/stam str/stam or even atk power item, as i feel that is the way for feral. I understand that i need to be hybrid, and i look forward to that. Currently i run "viscous hammer" it seems to be bis for my level.

Do you think it's worth using Manual Crowd Pummeler for Feral PvP? Isn't dps increase super good even at 60?
Technically, yes you could and it might be nice. The problem is that you would also spend hours upon hours farming them and that you lose the utility of your offhand item. Certainly a consideration to stockpile for a competitive event.

Getting a good spread of stats is super important for feral hybrid, I mention some of my gear selection in the video description. I'm also putting together a gear tierlist for the spec as well.
