- Hello my Creative Loves! In today’s art vlog I am taking you behind the scenes of a photoshoot cover and spread I shot with Retro Magazine! We did a pinup inspired shoot with an easel and whole creative set. I even brought a bust from my house and an acrylic painting I made a long time ago. I fell in love with the 20’-30’s inspired glam and I’m super thrilled about how they turned out.
This week I also created two art pieces for my my coworkers christmas presents. I draw a lion in charcoal (a combination of vine charcoal and charcoal pencil). I also drew my coworker’s pet Chihuahua in pastels using recycled sketchbook paper. It was a lot of fun to see them finished and framed. I briefly talk about how I use the guess method to start my drawings, but if you’d like a more in depth tutorial on how to draw using charcoal or pastels, let me know! I enjoy making these day in the life of an artist, or week in the life of an artist type videos. It feels good to be back drawing and making content.

Heather ! I forgot to bell your channel so I didn’t even know u had so much content out the past year . Guess I’ll be binge watching lol 😂.you look amazing and happy ! The mom in me ( I have a 19 year old) is telling me to give you some advice on your hair . Thin hair runs in my family as well and falls out during stress . What has done wonders with me is that I switched over to sulfate free vegan shampoo and I noticed within 3 months my pony tail is so much more thicker ! Also biotin supplements and even Collagen.my daughters ancestor on her dad side were Mexican so she had the thickest hair like Selena the singer and unfortunately she picked up vaping so I don’t know your personal like but becareful with vaping . Her hair is so much thinner now and handfuls come out when she showers. Also every 7 years or so we go through body changes and a lot of hair will fall out at once it’s a cycle ( u would have to research ) but it grows back thicker. Ok I’m done 😂 can’t wait to see all your content
Hey! Thank you! I'm glad you caught this one. My past few videos have been me sharing going through a lot of ups and downs. I was kind of over it and removed them lmao. I will def take your advice on the hair thing. I know it is from stress for sure. I don't vape or smoke. When my grandmother lost her brother she went completely bald from stress (the entire head, not exaggerating). I was having financial issues, 2 relationship crash and burns. I was just not having it. I got a good shampoo like you mention but I should try the supplements and collagen for sure. I appreciate the mama bear advice. Have a beautiful new year! :D
