I think this guy is one of the best gospel rappers I've ever heard. I look for clarity and theology, and he has both.

I don't even know them, but I not their FALSE teachings. God doesn't sacrifice truth for love. You're just emotionally attached to these doctrines of devils that they teach so you defend them. If you did any type of Bible study on even a remedial level, you'd clearly see their teachings contradict scripture. But you're a FAN and you will NOT see it. smh.

I love how calm and collected you are while presenting your information and how patient you were to await the Results given by God's word. a lot of us Christians(especially myself) should invest more time into doing things like this instead of quickly junping unto conclusions or becoming angry when coming at an argument like this

The point that shai linne is trying to tell us is that these teachers focus more on what God can give them (i.e. gifts) than on God Himself. The true gospel is that Christ freed us from sin. Jesus has already given us so much by the cross. We should never get into thinking that somehow God owes us. He doesnt owe us anything. God has the full right to decide how He will bless someone. God may in fact let you go through financial hardship so that your faith in Him and reliance on Him can increase. The false teachers teach that accepting Christ will make all the problems of the world disappear. It wont because there are still unbelievers in the world. These people are also false teachers because they puff themselves up about the good works they are doing in the kingdom. Jesus said to do those good things without proclaiming them for our own benefits. And if these people are really doing the things they claim, why are they still super rich? Cant that money be better used elsewhere? Jesus wants us to live humbly and use our riches to help the poor and needy.

Twenty-five plus years ago, I was deceived by that false gospel. But God, in His grace and mercy, opened my eyes; and he used men who were willing to speak against that false teaching in the process. So keep doing what you're doing Shai.

It really grieves me to hear a song proclaiming my pastor as a false teacher. I am not grieved because I fear what you say is true. I grieve because I know my pastors. I know their heart for ministry. I also know their hearts for souls. You said in your blog that you sat down and watched the broadcast for the past year. My pastor hasn't even mentioned finances during the past year. We have been learning about the love of God and the grace of God. We have been learning how Jesus paid it all.

Thank you for discerning false teachers and warning others. I really appreciate it. I noticed that people are now reprimanding you for the warning you give. Its not easy, but i'd rather you do this than let people get led away from God. Your either for God, or against him. No in between... Mr. Linne, I have been a fan of your music for years. I have all of your albums, and I really appreciate your portion of the work for the kingdom of God. That being said, I really have to let you know how I feel concerning your new song. I can admire your fortitude and the responsibility you feel to warn Christians about certain teachers. I can only speak to the one pastor you called a false teacher. My pastors are Creflo and Taffi Dollar. Normally, I don't speak out about them.

You da man, Shai Linne! I like what you have done with this song. It he way you went about exposing these teachers was handled amazingly. I often get angry at the prosperity gospel and start dropping names, but never have considered what you did by going and seeking wise counsel beforehand. It's right to expose this and bring it out into the open, because there are tons of non believers who see this and think that this is all Christianity is.
I don't know whether Shai Linne or his friends read the comments, but please tell him I and many others are very thankful to the Lord for having given Shai Linne the gift of being able to create very good sounding and doctrinally correct music. The music adds the to the seriousness of the message with its deep and dark motifs mixed with the Biblical lyrics. We pray you stay the course and write more music.

Thank you so much for exposing the false teachers. So many people are deceived as I was myself before reading all of Scripture and seeing God's care for the poor all the way through. The Old Testament religious leaders fleeced the widows, the orphans, and the poor. Jesus condemned the pharisees for devouring widows' houses - and then presented a widow who gave all she had as his example of how they were doing it. (Thank God for George Greene and John MacArthur and their teaching on the subject) God bless and keep you, brother!

You have been an inspiration to me for many years. I commend you for your boldness to speak out against some of the atrocities done in the name of God. I have seen the gospel used and abused by many to bend people to the will of evil and misguided men/women.
That being said, I have to say brother, i don't totally agree with you. you have to be careful when you make generalizations. Not all of the cats on TBN are money grubbing prosperity preachers.. Some? yes. All no.
Great work Shai Linne! Its time the body of CHRIST stands up boldly regarding these false teachers. Sadly too many believers have been led astray and become extremely discouraged. Appreciate the song brother. I know many thta think highly of these teachers. Our biggest problem in the body of Christ is most have not been discipled and end up into stuff like this. I was there two+ decades ago. Are you still doing music? I was in a Christian band for ten years in my younger days. I still do a lot of article writing and a few songs. I have been wanting to do some preaching in my songs but need others that are interested in doing something together. I like your heart. Let me know if you are interested. My last song was called Missed Taken Identity. It has a very good rap flow to the lyrics. Would love to do some guitar or something in with it.
He's speaking of genuine believers that may not be as strong in their spiritual maturity as they should be when they hear these false messages which can in-turn lead them astray.

Lastly, speaking of the corporate emotional hypnosis which you speak of, I have heard those messages and even been in those meetings, but besides the counterfeit emotionalism there is also a genuine inspiration and real fire which propels a preacher and ignites a congregation with pure Holy Spirit zeal to embrace the teaching being given.

This is the humility of a mature believer right here. He took the time to air out and eliminate any controversy that may have come with his song, because we know that 'prosperity gospel' is a touchy subject, but he uses the Word as a foundation to show us why the prosperity gospel message is false and those who willingly teach it are false teachers.

Which teachings have you listened to Shai (i would be happy if you listed them or maybe put a link so that I can listen to them myself)? I am in Zimbabwe and I tell you these so called "false teachers" have really BLESSED me. PROSPERITY is not only limited to money or material things, it includes the whole SPIRIT SOUL & BODY!!! If you are sick, you are poor in health, if you are depressed, you are poor in your mind, if you are broke, you are poor in your finances. God wants us balanced in all aspects. Money is the weakest form of power, and we are not seeking after it, we are after the King and His Domain and all these things are ADDED to us..... be BLESSED!!!!!
Graham, I realize this is difficult to hear if you are accustomed to listening to these people. I ask you to examine yourself and question how they blessed you?
Scripture warns us about following those who tell us the things we want to hear. Paul warns us in 2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions." That is why these teachers are so popular. They say very nice things that sound good. However, the promise of the Gospel is repentance, forgiveness of sins and the righteousness of Christ. The Gospel is not a promise for health or wealth.
It is not ALWAYS God's will for us to prosper. Jesus did not prosper when he was beaten, bruised, and hung on a cross yet that was God's will. Jesus tells us in Luke 6:20-21 " 'Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.'Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled. 'Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh." Those who are POOR are BLESSED.
I am NOT saying Christians have to take a vow of poverty. I am saying that we should not seek after riches like these teachers tell us to do. Many of them have gone as far to say that poverty is SINFUL.

I read things about Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Pat Robertson and other teachers and their false doctrines in Dave Hunts' book The occult Invasion. So I can agree to be aware of what you are getting teached.

Folks, I don't know what to say really. I agree with shai on his theology. God blesses us all differently and holds us accountable for those blessings (wife/husband/family, money, talents, opportunities for obedience, etc). But if God wants out money to go somewhere, I'd rather tithe faithfully out of obedience to my church body than give it to someone I don't know so "God will multiply it". God has asked for our obedience(which comes with love and a humble heart). God is not limited by my money

Everything that I know and understand about the Word of God comes from my time being a member of WCCI. There have been people calling my pastor a false teacher for years, but this is the first time I have felt compelled to defend him. I feel as though I should clean my music library of all your music, but I will be gracious to you. If anything you should called the ministry and requested to speak to my pastor. He would have been glad to speak with you I'm sure.

Let me give a testimony from Malawi, it is true that most of these preachers mentioned in your song are only talking about earthly possessions and not about Salvation anymore, am stuck to my old presybeterian church because our preachers are always reminding us our sins and asking us to repent so that we may be saved, alot of people are exiting the church because they want to hear the word from other preachers who are always talking about money, healing e.t.c, Big up Shai linne for exposing them
