    @PRR4000 The NH&I has been operating since 1966 and #40 has been there since that time. The Valley Railroad happens to have a #40 as well... it's a coincidence.

    I've fired a couple trips to Wycombe with 40 and no additional water car. With leaving New Hope with a full tank of water. On the trip to Wycombe and back we only went through about half the tender of water. Indeed we could have gone further but the next runaround south of Wycombe is Ivyland which might be pushing it a little close.

    Should get another Crosby 3 chime for #89 at the Strasburg Railroad too!

    My compliments to the chef on the nice wisseling!
    @Haloboy: Go back to playing video games, leave the railroading to the professionals.
    @LocoCyc: You have stowed away enough times on 40 to know what goes on.
    @PRR4000: Sitting here playing with myself, I can think of at least four "#40" steam locomotives that are serviceable.

    New Hope 17 should doublehead with NH&I 40

    Tell that hat-less wonder that it is his duty as conductor to observe the points and equipment during any facing move through a switch!

    @4202EJW Seriously, are we arguing who the best railfan is? That's ridiculous, you all should know the answer.

    @PennRailVideos  15 ปีที่แล้ว

    @HaloCE14 Once again, you ramble on about something you have absolutely no clue about. Just be a good little railfan and comment the videos like everyone else. =D

    Yeah it's sounds good for an engine that isn't maintained properly. Watch recent videos and you will see it leaking steam, and carrying over. It sounds terrible btw.

    On behalf of Mandavoshka, being part of some b.s. socialistic labor union doesn't make you a steam professional by ANY means. Look up "professional" in any accredited dictionary and re-evaluate your assertion.
    Also, watch those apostrophes. Their misuse can be a doozie!

    @StanierBlack5LMS You speak of these folks as if you knew them, but you do realize they mean nothing to anyone browsing this website I hope? And yes, I second that of brother 'Majafaja in that being part of a useless socialist fraternity by no means makes you a "steam professional", and is more of a hinderance at best! You're speaking to a man who has put 35 years in the trade, so believe me when I say I've yet to find an equal to this young lad on the whistle cord these days!
