Karwar to Mangaluru KSRTC Volvo bus journey: Karnataka's coastal route

- This is a travelogue of a journey by the Karwar-Mangaluru KSRTC Volvo bus service operated by Mangaluru division.
Served by a Volvo B7R coach, the bus departs from Karwar at 06:45 daily to reach Mangaluru at 12:15. In the return direction, it departs from Mangaluru bus stand at 16:45 to reach Karwra at 22:15. Enroute, the bus stops at Ankola bus stand, Gokarna cross(highway), Kumta bus stand, Honnavar circle(highway), Murudeshwar cross(highway), Bhatkal bus stand(tea break), Byndoor bus stand(railway station), Kundapur(Shastri circle), Brahmanvar bus stand, Udupi new bus stand, old bus stand and main city areas and reaches Mangaluru. Drop off points in Mangaluru are till Milagres(Hampankatta) while the return bus departs from KSRTC bus stand at Lalbagh only.
Ticket price is Rs.420 for an end to end journey. This bus is available for booking through ksrtc.in.
There are two other Volvo services operated by KSRTC Mangaluru division. One is at 14:15 to Kumta which is an unreserved service while the other is the 15:15 service to Sirsi via Kumta which is available for online reservations.

Recently I travelled from Mysore to chennai in Volvo 7.25pm bus. Overall maintenance very worst but charges are same. Free beeies are given at the cost of maintenance. Travellers who are travelling in Volvo contributing for free bus. Not one but all items in bus are not maintained properly.
Freebies have more negatives than positives, I agree. But I haven't noticed any degradation in service. Stay tuned for upcoming travelogues.👍
How much lies you tell Mr muralidharanev4960 ,KSRTC have never ever degraded its service and maintenance of buses is top class even better than most of the private operators.

Maine aapka travle vlog dekha.bahot badhia laga sir.aap ek bar ksrtc ka Bangalore to chatrapati sambhaji nagar (aurangabad,maharashtra) route pe vlog bana lijiye.950 km ka long route hai.

The time from Dandeli Is morning 5.15. The route is Dandeli, Dharwad, Hubli, sirsi, kumta, karkala, Moodbidri, belthangady. Bus arrives in Sirsi around 10 am.
