Now we just have to fix...everything else. I'm thinking that the overall style of music should be disco. That way people can still dance along without wanting to rip their ears out. As for the story, I'm thinking that Mickey is holding a giant disco dance for his birthday, where all the Disney characters and the audience are invited. All the Disney characters put on the own song to add some spice to the party, explaining the wide mix of songs, (I mean, other than the fact that it's a Disney firework show) and in the end, we have a disco remix of the Mickey Mouse theme song, and tinkerbell sprinkles some pixie dust to elevate the party, literally, as the castle and main street buildings start to dance with projections and laser effects.
This is next level. If this was the actual mickeys mix magic, I would enjoy it! Well done! It’s my dream one day to be a Disney pyro designer one day. I would never let a bad show ever happen under my watch. I’ve learned from watching Steve Davison my whole life…and now the 3rd party’s are coming in and doing terrible shows! Harmonious (Steve’s latest show) is fantastic. Enchantment not so much. Seriously though, nice work on this Arlo!
Nice work as always Arlo, even if I disagree that MixMagic needed too much reworking sequence-wise. I think the errors lie rather with the setlist, pacing, and that frantic bizerk searchlight work. After viewing it away from the masses in spots where you could only see the pyro, I was impressed by the simplicity and choices of shells and effects they currently use. Lots of color shifts, layering effects, and traditional accent work that don't rely only on low level and castle launches. Hopefully they'll introduce a new setlist or just a new, better thought-out off-season hybrid show that follows this low-fuss, low-hype off season model in 2023. Until then, can't wait for your next spectacular! (Hoping you'll take a crack at sequencing something using the new HKDL soundtrack that leaked.) ;)
Wow the pyro in this show is just.....perfect. Literally every firework show you create is a MASSIVE step up from the previous one. GREAT JOB ARLO The show is still bad cause the soundtrack just sucks 😂

I really think they really didn’t need pyro at the beginning, so I like the original of the first song better. But this is good.
Also, earlier I didn’t know you only meant the fireworks, I thought you was talking about the soundtrack-
agreed. i really like the one in real life where the first fireworks go off on the "ready to party" line. more pyro doesn't mean its better imo
